Sunday, 23rd: On May 22, 2019, Mrs. H… enrolled herself for Bible studies and requested lessons for more than a dozen grandchildren too. She e-mailed BSBM on June 19th: “The reason for contacting you today is for prayer. The devil has always attacked me from childhood. I tend to fall weak because he lays it on me deep. I need strength to get back on track in every area of my life. All the little ones look up to me. So, I am ready to do God’s will, but I need people like you in my life. Thank you, Danellia”

          Praise God – “Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.”(Eph. 6:13)! Pray Danellia sets her mind on Christ and sings out loud.

Monday, 24th: WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO LEARN FROM GOD STUDYING THE BIBLE? New student registrant Michael H… shared: “I have been a child of God for a little over a year. I am wanting to enhance my knowledge of the word of God to be able to make disciples for the Lord.”

          Praise God – “Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.”(Col. 4:6)! Pray Michael does course #1 and then seeks to redo it with a lost friend.

Tuesday, 25th: “Hola, mi nombre es [Hi, my name is] Ana R…  I have been falsely accused and incarcerated for 10 months. It is a very sad situation for my family and me. I am sad and discouraged. I am Mexican and I don’t speak English. I ask you to pray for me. Also, I ask you to send me Bible studies. Muchas gracias.”

          Praise God – “You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD; He is their help and their shield.”(Psa. 115:11)! Pray Ana surrenders her life to the Lord. Pray she finds lasting courage and hope in God’s word.

Wednesday, 26th: “I am currently an inmate…I have been struggling with my addiction for over half my life. Please pray for me that God sees fit to allow me to go to rehab (long-term) instead of a long-term prison sentence. Also please enroll me in your studies. Thank you…William M…”

          Praise God – “Let us hold resolutely to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.”(Heb. 10:23)! Pray William studies God’s word diligently, memorizes key verses & seeks godly friendships on the inside.

Thursday, 27th: Iza C… (age 31) started studying Spanish lessons on June 3, 2019. On June 20th, we received her first completed study worksheets. She shared: “Yes, I received el Señor Jesucristo como mi Salvador [the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior] on November 27, 2018. I ask you to have me in your prayers. I will be sentenced in August. They want to give me 20 years and I am innocent. I am very afraid they’ll give me many years in jail. I have three children. Pray for my family.”

          Praise God – “Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is our refuge. Selah” (Psa. 62:8)! Pray Iza studies her Bible and lessons without failure. Pray she shares Christ with others.

Friday, 28th: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN?  New student Diane U… (age 58) wrote: “That God is the only way. Yes. Today, June 14, 2019.”

          Praise God – “But I call to God, and the LORD will save me.”(Psa. 55:16)! Pray Diane keeps doing her studies and returning her worksheets. Pray she finds a Bible-teaching church and a godly mentor.

Saturday, 29th: “My name is Julieanne D…  I would like to have some studies. Pray for me. My boyfriend just passed away May 12, 2019. I look forward to hearing from you soon.” (She is an inmate.)

          Praise God – “This is my comfort in affliction: that Your promise has given me life.”(Psa. 119:50)! Pray Julieanne completes her first two lessons and takes the steps of faith shown to her by the Holy Spirit.

Sunday, 16th: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN?  New student Candi M… (age 39) wrote: “That I am a sinner and God wants me to give my life to him. No. Not like I should be doing.”

          Praise God – “As it has been said: “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts, as you did in the rebellion.””(Hebrews 3:15)! Pray Candi does lessons 3 thru 6, this June. (Lessons 1 and 2 took 18 months to do.)

Monday, 17th: WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO LEARN FROM GOD STUDYING THE BIBLE? New student registrant Kristie P… wrote: “How to make it to Heaven. How to stay sober from drugs / alcohol. How to find forgiveness from others…”

          Praise God – “As for me, I would seek God, and to God would I commit my cause,”(Job 5:8)! Pray Kristie does her first two Bible lessons, finds a Bible-teaching church and makes a godly female friendship.

Tuesday, 18th: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN?  New student Amanda C… wrote: “That I must ask Jesus into my heart to become a Christian. And the two roads also. Not yet.”

          Praise God – “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.”(Matthew 7:13)! Pray Amanda sees Christ’s road & follows Him closely.

Wednesday, 19th: WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO LEARN FROM GOD STUDYING THE BIBLE? New student registrant Tracy M… wrote: “How to get to heaven to be with my family that has passed away. I want to live by his word.”

          Praise God – ““Lord,” someone asked Him, “will only a few people be saved?” Jesus answered,”(Luke 13:23)! Pray Tracy studies Bible lessons 1 and 2 intently. Pray she repents & believes in the gospel / Jesus.

          Praise God – “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able.””(Luke 13:24)! Pray Derrick keeps doing all the studies we send. Pray he shares the gospel.

Friday, 21st: WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO LEARN FROM GOD STUDYING THE BIBLE? The mother of new student registrant Justin D… wrote: “I hope my son learns to deal with bullying the way God would want. He is almost 14. My name is Jennifer D…”

          Praise God – “Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.”(Psalm 55:22)! Pray Justin grows strong in his faith and bold in his public stance against bullying.

Saturday, 22nd: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN?  New student Kristena M… (age 29) wrote: “That I am a sinner, but if I repent and follow God’s word, I might make it into Heaven. Yes. June 2017.”

          Praise God – “Therefore no one will be justified in His sight by works of the law. For the law merely brings awareness of sin.”(Romans 3:20)! Pray Kristena bases her faith upon Christ & His finished work at Calvary.

Sunday, 9th: Using BSBM’s website, prison chaplain John M… requested Bible studies for an inmate. He shared: “I have sent the gospel to all death row inmates in Texas. Raul C… replied with his testimony of receiving Christ. I want to ensure he can grow in Christ and maybe spread the good news to other death row inmates. Thank you.”

          Praise God – “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.”(Ephesians 6:10)! Pray Raul receives the second mailing of his first set of studies. Pray he finds another born again death row inmate.

Monday, 10th: New student Frankie G… shared: “Yes, I have received the Lord Jesus as my Savior. I have been in prison for 24 years. I was a gang leader and a pagan satanic priest. I studied ways to talk Christians out of their beliefs. One night while sitting in my cell alone, I thought about everything I had done, and I was so ashamed. I planned to kill myself. As I put the sheet around my neck this thought came to my mind, ‘I made you for more than this.’ It was like God had spoken to me.”

          Praise God – “Know that the LORD is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.”(Psalm 100:3)! Pray Frankie studies God’s word diligently and shares it faithfully.

Tuesday, 11th: Evelyn H… found BSBM’s website sign-up page on Friday, May 31st at 1:39 AM. She shared: “I have lost my way. I feel lost and alone. I want to find God again. I have fallen off track.”

          Praise God – “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”(James 4:8)! Pray Evelyn does the studies & finds a Bible-teaching church.

Wednesday, 12th: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN?  New inmate student Serafin D… (age 41) wrote: “I have learned that God is merciful and loving. He loves me enough to send his son down to pay my debt in order to forgive me. Yes. Today, May 28, 2019.” (His first lessons were sent on May 23rd.)

          Praise God – “God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.”(2 Cor. 5:21)! Pray Serafin keeps studying and starts sharing the truth with others.

Thursday, 13th: Using BSBM’s website, Graham T… requested Bible studies for an inmate. He shared: “Casey M… is a good friend, like a sister to me. She has fallen out of recovery and recently caught several drug charges. She knows God but has lost touch with Him. She requested a Bible study so she can get back on the right path.”

          Praise God – “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”(2 Cor. 3:17)! Pray Casey submits herself once again to the Lord’s will and experiences His freedom personally.

Friday, 14th: Inmate John M… (age 56) began studying in October 2018. He completed the 4th course on May 28th and shared: “I will serve the Lord Jesus Christ with all my heart and mind, just as if He was coming tomorrow. I love Jesus.” (He said he was born again on October 5, 1999.)

          Praise God – “Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.”(1 John 4:11)! Pray John puts his heartfelt love for Jesus into practice by sharing God’s message of love with fellow inmates.

Saturday, 15th: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN?  New student Jasmine S… (age 23) wrote: “That Jesus is the only door to heaven, so I have to believe, trust him to go. Almost. Honestly, I feel like I am not ready because I am not worthy.”Praise God – “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”(Romans 6:23)! Pray Jasmine completes all 20 lessons in course 1. Pray she confesses her sin and trusts Him.

Sunday, 2nd: “First I thank God almighty for giving me the privilege to take this Bible course. I am very happy that I am growing in my spiritual life by taking this course. Pray with me on the following: 1) I want total and complete spiritual transformation and for God to use me for His glory and purpose; 2) I am looking unto God to touch the heart of the immigration judge to reopen my case for review; 3) I want prayer of protection for my wife and kids.           Praise God – “Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.”(Eph 6:18)! Pray inmate Abel lives each day in submission to God’s word & will.

Monday, 3rd: Inmate Joseph S… (age 35) finished his first two Bible lessons and shared: “It’s not too late. I’m glad I didn’t miss the chance of everlasting life. Yes, May 16, 2019, I received the Lord Jesus as my Savior. Thank you for your work in the Lord. I kinda felt like there was very little hope for me the day your letter arrived. I had just got off the phone telling a loved one I needed something to do and there you were. When I was younger, I attended a private Christian school. Yet my thought process was set on destruction. At 11, I was baptized but I was already smoking meth.”

          Praise God – “Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death?”(Romans 7:24)! Pray Joseph continues to study, finds a godly inmate and shares his faith boldly.

Tuesday, 4th: “I am writing to ask you about Bible studies. I am a prisoner until 2021. Please sign me up for any programs you may have. Thank you, Calista S… #___ …Prison …Texas”

          Praise God – “For the arms of the wicked will be broken, but the LORD upholds the righteous.”(Psalm 37:17)! Pray Calista studies her first lessons & does exactly what the Spirit prompts her to do without delay.

Wednesday, 5th: WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO LEARN FROM GOD STUDYING THE BIBLE? New student registrant Brittney M… wrote: “I just want to learn how to submit to Him. I am struggling to kill my flesh and to submit to God. But yet He still continues to be so good to me and bless me. I need to learn His word and be able to use it appropriately in my life.”

          Praise God – “I have strayed like a lost sheep; seek Your servant, for I have not forgotten Your commandments.”(Psa. 119:176)! Pray Brittany cries out for Jesus’ help & keeps her mind focused on Him.

          Praise God – “let us lay aside every hindrance and the sin that so easily ensnares us. Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us,”(Heb. 12:1b)! Pray Denise studies God’s word diligently and shares it fearlessly.

Friday, 7th: “Thanks for sending me your Bible studies. It took a long time to send them back because I do not have any income from my family. Is there any way you could send me a pre-stamped envelope from now on? I love God and want to grow more. In His grip, Timothy N…”

          Praise God – “Kindness to the poor is a loan to the LORD, and He will repay the lender.”(Proverbs 19:17)! Pray inmate Timothy obeys Christ’s teaching and invites fellow inmates and guardsmen to study too.

Saturday, 8th: WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO LEARN FROM GOD STUDYING THE BIBLE? New student registrant Edward N… wrote: “To gain a great knowledge of His word and take the next step toward being ordained.”

          Praise God – “Let not many of you become teachers, my brethren, knowing that as such we will incur a stricter judgment.”(James 3:1)! Pray Edward seeks to do God’s will, in complete submission to His leading alone.

Sunday, 26th: “Please pray for me. I was locked up on charges that I didn’t do. I was staying at a motel and someone took my truck and out run the police. I didn’t report it stolen and two weeks later they lock me up and say I was in the truck. The office had said I had gold teeth. I didn’t even have any teeth then. I know that through the prayers of my brothers and sisters, the courts will find this out. Your brother in Christ, James R…” (He has been studying in jail since October 3, 2016.)

          Praise God – “Into Your hands I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O LORD, God of truth.”(Psalm 31:5)! Pray James studies faithfully, keeps his eyes on Jesus & shares God’s truth with other inmates.

Monday, 27th: Inmate Israel H… (age 52) surrendered his life to Christ while doing lessons 1 and 2 of his first study course. March 11, 2019, we sent him lessons 3 thru 6 and waited. He wrote on May 13: “I sent you my test pages for lessons 3-6 about a month ago. We were in lockdown when I gave them to the officer, so I’m thinking maybe he didn’t mail them out. I don’t know what happened. If you didn’t get my question sheets for lessons 3-6, please resend them and I’ll do them again.”

          Praise God – “I wait for the LORD; my soul does wait, and in His word I put my hope.”(Psalm 130:5)! Pray Israel memorizes God’s word and puts His teaching into practice without hesitation.

Tuesday, 28th: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN?  New student Regina R… (age 45) wrote: “Jesus is the only way to Heaven. Yes, when I was a child. But I took the wrong road and was on drugs for 25 years. I would read the Bible a lot in jail. That’s how I learned about God. I got clean on 9-15-15. God changed my life. My husband is now almost 3 years clean. We could not have done it without God.”

          Praise God – “I have hidden Your word in my heart that I might not sin against You.”(Psalm 119:11)! Pray Regina and her husband continue to read & study God’s word. Pray they reach out to other addicts.

          Praise God – “God blesses us, that all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.”(Psalm 67:7)! Pray Cynthia keeps studying her lessons, finds a Bible-teaching church and seeks a godly woman for mentoring.

Thursday, 30th: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN?  New student inmate Alexandro R… (age 32) wrote: “I believe on Jesus and accept Him as my Savior. Yes. 5-7-19” (the first lessons were mailed to him on 5-2-19)

          Praise God – ““Lord, I believe,” he said. And he worshiped Jesus.”(John 9:38)! Pray Alexandro rereads and studies his completed lesson booklets while waiting for his next studies to come in the mail.

Friday, 31st: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN?  New student inmate Zachary P… (age 22) wrote: “That Jesus is the doorway to heaven. Yes. 5/11/19” (the first lessons were mailed to him on 5-6-19)

          Praise God – “I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.”(John 10:9)! Pray Zachary finds another believer in his jail pod to share and pray with regularly.

Saturday, 1st: “I am writing to say I am sorry for taking so long to finish my studies. As you can see, I have moved to another prison and it took time to adjust. While I was being transferred here, I caught Bell’s palsy. I’m getting better, one day at a time. So please keep me in prayer. Michael R…” Praise God – “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”(Psalm 73:26)! Pray Michael seeks strength and encouragement in the Lord’s word at sunrise.

Sunday, 19th: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN?  New student inmate Ashley S… (age 33) wrote: “It will not be easy. But he promises to never leave or forsake us. You will be accepted by admitting you are a sinner and repenting. Yes. 5-9-19 Reborn Christian!” (First study was sent on Jan. 31, 2018 – 17 months ago!)

          Praise God – “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”(Romans 8:37)! Pray Ashley diligently studies God’s word and intentionally puts Christ’s teaching into practice.

Monday, 20th: Dated 4-24-2019: “This lesson has taught me that the calmness I have is because I am relying on God’s promises to me. I have continued to grow spiritually by studying these courses. I have accepted myself, trusting in God’s love and wisdom, which makes me see myself as God sees me. I give Him thanks and praise for my happiness. Giving God all the glory, Donald B…”

          Praise God – “The LORD gives His people strength; the LORD blesses His people with peace.”(Psalm 29:11)! Pray Donald shares God’s salvation story and encourages friends and family to study the Bible too.

Tuesday, 21st: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN?  New student inmate John H… (age 35) wrote: “Through Christ Jesus I am saved and will be going to heaven to spend the rest of eternity with God. This is the truth because God cannot lie. And I know it to be so. Yes. Today, Friday, April 26th, 2019,” (This first study was sent on April 15, 2019.)

          Praise God – “This truth gives them confidence that they have eternal life, which God—who does not lie—promised them before the world began.”(Titus 1:2)! Pray John trusts and obeys the Lord wholeheartedly.

Wednesday, 22nd: Dated 4-24-2019: “My name is Abel O… and I am presently detained at ____ County Prison. I request free Bible studies and I look forward to being one of your students.”

          Praise God – “Make every effort to present yourself approved to God, an unashamed workman who accurately handles the word of truth.”(2 Timothy 2:15)! Pray Abel studies his lessons with Bible, memorizing key verses.

Thursday, 23rd: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN?  New student Alexus P… (age 25) wrote: “The choice is mine, heaven or hell. And I have to find the right path, so that I can have everlasting life, in a place with no worries. Yes. Starting now!” (This first study was sent on April 22, 2019.)

          Praise God – “They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.”(John 1:13)! Pray Alexus keeps studying, finds a Bible-teaching church & a good friend.

Friday, 24th: Inmate Timothy W… shared: “I really love your studies. Solomon asked the Lord for the best thing, for wisdom, knowledge and understanding. I can’t wait for my next two study books.”

          Praise God – “If Your law had not been my delight, then I would have perished in my affliction.”(Psalm 119:92)! Pray Timothy lives out his faith before fellow inmates without fear. Pray his cellmates ask for studies.

Saturday, 25th: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN?  New student inmate Daniel S… (age 64) wrote: “Nothing new, just the importance of one way, the Lord Jesus Christ. Yes. In June 1960. I have been a minister for over 40 years and served our Lord faithfully. A lady made a false accusation and I am now in Wilcox State Prison. Please pray for my wife of 41 years and for our two children. Pray for my quick release. I do continue to minister in prison and will use your study notes to help others.”Praise God – “All a man’s ways are pure in his own eyes, but his motives are weighed by the LORD.”(Proverbs 16:2)! Pray Daniel is touched by the Holy Spirit and that he speaks the truth and nothing but the truth.

Sunday, 12th: Alonnah C… asked for Bible studies by mail on the website at 6:00 AM, May 4. She shared: “I need help desperately and know He’s the only One who can help…I lost my mother a year ago and I have been so angry. But I have concluded that that solves nothing, except make my heart ache more. I’m ready to let God take control, because I’m nothing without Him.”

          Praise God – “But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”(Romans 5:8)! Pray Alonnah lets the word of God renew her mind; pray she trusts & obeys God without delay.

Monday, 13th: “Please pray for me. I got out of an abusive relationship and I’m finding it difficult to find an affordable place to live. Every day I feel more and more defeated, discouraged and depressed. Please pray that God will give me healing, a safe place to live and a car. Please pray the Holy Spirit will convict Franklin and that he will repent and come to know Jesus as his Savior and Lord. Thank you, Cynthia B…”

          Praise God – “Incline Your ear to me; come quickly to my rescue. Be my rock of refuge, the stronghold of my deliverance.”(Psalm 31:2)! Pray Cynthia studies the word, finds a Bible-teaching church & a godly friend.

Tuesday, 14th: From an e-mail sent May 3rd: “I’m sorry but someone threw my lessons away. I really wanted those, but people are hateful. I’m handicapped and don’t get out much, so people throw my stuff out. The Lord helps me every single day. I’m never alone. I pray for those haters and hope they will have their own personal relationship with God. Thank you again, Sandra C…”

          Praise God – “Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.”(1 Peter 3:9)! Pray Sandra reflects Christ’s truth in love at her housing unit.

Wednesday, 15th: Harley B… (age 4) studies along with his mommy’s coaching. On April 23rd, Melody asked him these three final questions, DID YOU SAY YOUR MEMORY VERSE?  HAVE YOU TAKEN THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR?  WHEN?  He responded: “Yes. Yes. Today.”

          Praise God – “Tell your children about it, and let your children tell their children—and their children, the next generation.”(Joel 1:3)! Pray Harley and Melody take steps of faith and work out their salvation together.

Thursday, 16th: From an e-mail sent May 6th: “I want to learn all about God and to know that I am saved! I gave my life to God in 2010! And I want to understand what the Bible verses mean. Please help me! I am afraid I could go to HELL. Please help me to know for sure. Thank you! Brent P…” (His first Bible lessons were mailed on May 9th.)

          Praise God – “On that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I am in you.”(John 14:20)! Pray Brent earnestly reads and studies his first two lessons with his Bible at hand.

Friday, 17th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS LESSON?  Kayla B… shared: “To be alert at all times. Satan, as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour. There are so many distractions nowadays. Please pray I stay focused on God alone.”

          Praise God – “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”(James 4:7)! Pray Kayla puts her faith into action by following the Lord’s nudging and depending on Him to complete it.

Saturday, 18th: Inmate Martin S… (age 56) shared: “I first sought God’s forgiveness in 1979, but backslid. Now, March 15, 2019, I truly meant it. I got locked up April 11, 2019 and I could spend the rest of my life in jail. I will serve the Lord all my life, wherever I am. I ask you to pray.”

  Praise God – “Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips will praise You. So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.”(Psalm 63:3-4)! Pray Martin daily surrenders his will to God’s.

Sunday, 5th: Stephanie M… (age 55) began studying B.S.B.M.’s lessons on October 3, 2018. After returning her first study assignment, on November 1, 2018, she informed us that she had trusted Christ as her personal Savior, in October 2018! She recently shared what she’d learned in her last lessons: “The parable of the grape vine makes it a lot easier to understand how I can’t do anything apart from abiding in Christ. Baptism does not save anyone. It’s for those that are already saved. Does that mean baptism for babies should not be done?”

          Praise God – “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”(John 15:5)! Pray Stephanie practices her faith thru personal application.

Monday, 6th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD STUDYING HIS WORD? New student registrant Michelle M… wrote: “I would like to know Jesus Christ better.”

          Praise God – “That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death;”(Philippians 3:10)! Pray Michelle faithfully studies & obeys God’s word.

          Praise God – “This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”(John 17:3)! Pray Carlos finds personal space to do Bible study and memorization of key verses.

Wednesday, 8th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD STUDYING HIS WORD? New student registrant Johanna W… wrote: “I want to strengthen my relationship with God. I want to learn all I can so I can do my own Bible study groups.”

          Praise God – “You therefore, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.”(2 Timothy 2:1)! Pray Johanna completes course #1 and it’s 20 lessons, before starting to lead her own Bible study groups.

Thursday, 9th: “Hello, How are you? I’m very well. I lost book 4, lessons 10-12. I have looked but not found it. I even did it but misplaced it, only the Lord knows. We had to rush to get ready for a clean dorm. Will you please resend that booklet and I will redo it? I do so enjoy your studies and I’m learning so much, as well. Have a blessed one. Take care.           Praise God – “Your testimonies are my heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart.”(Psalm 119:111)! Pray Nicole shares God’s word with her fellow inmates & encourages them to study God’s word too.

Friday, 10th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD STUDYING HIS WORD? New student registrant Mary H… wrote: “I hope to gain a closer relationship with God through His word and to be able to defeat life’s demons.”

          Praise God – “The iniquities of a wicked man entrap him; the cords of his sin entangle him.”(Proverbs 5:22)! Pray Mary surrenders all personal life matters into the Lord’s hands and finds a godly friend, as well.

Sunday, 28th: Student inmate Carolyn S… wrote: “Please pray for the ______ Cowboy Church. The Pastor and his wife have my little girl and they are raising her for the Lord’s service, while I am going through my trials and tribulations. Please pray for an abundance of favor and mercy on my upcoming court day. May God prosper this captivity and bring me out!”

          Praise God – “Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid.”(Proverbs 12:1)! Pray Carolyn keeps studying our Bible lessons and following God’s personal teaching each day.

Monday, 29th: Jason L… wrote: “I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the prepaid envelopes; it’s a true blessing and I am truly grateful. I love these studies; I feel so strengthened after reading them. The visualizations are beautifully integrated into the lessons, which really does enrich my study experience. I share with a lot of guys in my jail pod. There is anywhere from 20 to 30 people here at a time. If you had some scripture verses on cards or slips to invite a friend to study, I would share with them.”

          Praise God – “that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those sanctified by faith in Me.”(Acts 26:18b)! Pray Jason strengthens himself in the Lord daily through Bible study and obedience.

          Praise God – “Instead, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the desires of the flesh.”(Romans 13:14)! Pray Carl listens to the Spirit, as he studies; pray he trusts & obeys the Lord.

          Praise God – “I am sending you to them to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God,”(Acts 26:17b-18a)! Pray Shantel keeps studying and makes godly friendships.

Thursday, 2nd: A student inmate is grateful: “John 15 has always been my favorite chapter in the Bible. And the way it was explained in this lesson, made it more real to me than it has ever been. Thank you! Guy B…”

          Praise God – “But God has revealed it to us by the Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.”(1 Cor 2:10)! Pray Guy lives to please God, first & foremost; desiring to glorify Him among others.

I am trying to become a godly woman.”Praise God – “He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will never be shaken.”(Psalm 62:2)! Pray Janna does her first Bible lessons and hides God’s promises in her heart through memorization.

Sunday, 21st: “On 3-10-19, I prayed for God to forgive me and accepted Jesus as my Savior. As my time draws closer for me to get out, I look back at the last 14 years I’ve wasted inside these prison walls. Yet now I know I waste not, because I live for God’s word. For years I had a very hard and hateful heart, but no longer and it feels so great! For many years I was a high-ranking member of the Aryan Brotherhood, but I stepped away from it. I know God has a bigger and better plan for me. I do want to tell as many people as possible how God changed my heart, life and ways. Respectively, Terry P…” (In March 2019, Terry’s mom phoned B.S.B.M. and requested studies be mailed to him.)

          Praise God – “For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that One died for all, therefore all died.” (2 Cor. 5:14)! Pray Terry studies God’s word intently and passionately begins to share his faith in jail.

Monday, 22nd: “Friends in Christ, Can you all put me in your prayers? That they consider my hardship and grant me a transfer, so I am closer to my family and loved ones. Thank you all, Daniel G…” (He has been studying Bible courses with B.S.B.M. for 1 ½ years.)

          Praise God – “Remember those in prison as if you were bound with them, and those who are mistreated as if you were suffering with them.”(Heb. 13:3)! Pray Daniel patiently waits on the Lord, drawing near to Him daily.

Tuesday, 23rd: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN?  New student Sara Z… (age 62) wrote: “That the only way to Heaven is by Jesus. Yes. 4-1-2019” (Her first 2 Bible lessons were mailed on March 29, 2019.)

          Praise God – “For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.”(Romans 5:6)! Pray Sara keeps doing the lessons mailed to her. Pray she finds a Bible-teaching church to attend.

Wednesday, 24th: Penned, 4-11-19, in jail: “I am a person seeking to grow in the love of God. I don’t understand English. By God’s grace, my companion gave me your address to receive Bible studies. I have very little resources, if you can help with stamps. Your brother in Cristo, Juan M…”

          Praise God – “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace to me was not in vain.”(1 Cor. 15:10a)! Pray Juan gets his first mailing of Spanish lessons without any imposed mail restrictions by the jail.

Thursday, 25th: Sarah W… a hopeful new student sign-up, using B.S.B.M.’s website, wrote: “I would like to learn more so I can share His word with others.”

          Praise God – “Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest.”(Matt. 9:38)! Pray Sarah diligently and prayerfully studies God’s word, keeping in mind her goal to share the gospel.

Friday, 26th: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN?  New student Kimberly C… (age 52) wrote: “That God sent his only begotten son Jesus to die on the cross so that whosoever believes in him will have everlasting life. Yes. April 9, 2019” (Her 3rd mailing, of the first 2 Bible lessons, was resent on April 3, 2019. PTL!!!)

          Praise God – “He was delivered over to death for our trespasses and was raised to life for our justification.” (Romans 4:25)! Pray Kimberly does not hesitate to do what God has prompted her to do.

Saturday, 27th: Using B.S.B.M.’s website, awhile back, Walter N…, Chris & Cassey M…, Wayne & Eunice H…, Lacey L…, Manuel A… and Ray H… all requested Bible studies by mail. Also, awhile back, B.S.B.M. mailed each one their first lessons. We heard back from a few of them, but we didn’t for most, because they didn’t do their lessons and return the question pages to B.S.B.M. for processing. Well, last week they all requested to restart Bible studies again, using B.S.B.M.’s website. Praise God – “I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, that He considered me faithful and appointed me to service.”(1 Tim. 1:12)! Pray B.S.B.M. serves hopeful students compassionately and wisely.
