I would like to study your Bible lessons again and use them. I would like to know if you send people Holy oil, and if you do, can you send me some? Someone sent me some, but I don’t remember who it was.” (Since 2012, she has completed just 6 lessons. Restarted on 01/13/2025.) Praise God – “When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father—He will testify about Me.” (John 15:26)! Pray Phyllis surrenders ALL to God.

Monday, 20^th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On January 3 at 12:19 AM, new student hopeful Lokelani E… emailed: “I hope to learn all about Jesus, His life on earth, His teachings and how to apply it all to our lives and be more knowledgeable to help family and maybe others too, so they learn more about Him and know all that is required to get to heaven.” (First studies mailed to her and her four grandchildren on 1/15/25.) Praise God – “Grandchildren are the crowning glory of the aged; parents are the pride of their children.” (Proverbs 17:6)! Pray Lokelani studies her lessons, and helps her grandchildren and children do so too.

Tuesday, 21^st: Letter dated 1-2-2025 from Spanish speaking student Ricardo B…: “[Favor dejarme saber] Please let me know why you are no longer sending me Bible courses. I sent you my test pages in November. I want to know what mistake I made. I bother you because I am hungry to learn more.” (B.S.B.M. was moving office, when his test pages arrived, so that was why he waited longer than usual for his next studies. He is 84.) Praise God – “Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation,” (1 Peter 2:2)! Pray Ricardo memorizes verses, shares them with cellmates and shares his testimony too.

Wednesday, 22^nd: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On January 3 at 1:37 PM, new student hopeful Danielle M… emailed: “As a beginner, I hope to learn his ways, walk in his light and path, and find the truth.” (First studies mailed to her on 1/15/25.) Praise God – “For You, O LORD, are my lamp; the LORD lights up my darkness.” (2 Samuel 22:29)! Pray Danielle does her first study, believes in Jesus, repents of her sin and acknowledges Christ as her Savior.

Thursday, 23^rd: Lisa C… requested Bible studies for inmate Ray C…, on December 15, 2015. His first study was mailed then. Again, on January 6, 2025, Lisa emailed and asked that studies be sent to Ray. BSBM emailed Lisa: “We mailed studies to Ray on December 15, 2015, but we never heard back from him. Lisa, are you sure he wants to study now?” Lisa replied: “I am sorry he didn’t get back to you. I just talked with Ray and he said he never received the study, and would really like to do them. I know his prison is notorious for losing mail. I’m assuming that is likely what happened in this case.” (Ray’s first study booklet was mailed again on 1/16/25.) Praise God – “Abundant peace belongs to those who love Your law; nothing can make them stumble.” (Psalm 119:165)! Pray Ray gets his study this time; pray the warden sees how Bible studies can benefit his prison.

Praise God – “Whoever heeds instruction will find success, and blessed is he who trusts in the LORD.” (Proverbs 16:20)! Monday, 13^th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On December 25, at 8:47 PM, new student hopeful Reba S… emailed: “What God wants me to do for Him. I am 67 years old and I am tired of not doing anything to help better His Kingdom here on earth.” (First study mailed on January 8, 2025.) Praise God – “Come, follow Me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” (Matthew 4:19)! I get out of prison on February 28, 2025, in just 3 more months. Gerardo shared: “Here are the most important things I learned in these lessons. The discipline of Dios is good. And to have Jesús in me, is to have everything I’ll ever need.” (Santiago has signed up 24 inmates to study the Bible.) Praise God – “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.” (Mt. 6:33)! Pray Gerardo, Santiago & their cellmates are thankful for God’s loving discipline.

I am just waiting on my husband to pick up stamps so we can mail them. How do I request prayer? I’ve been suffering with anger issues and anxiety. I have 3 kids and I hate it when they see me angry. My parents would drink a lot when I was a child, and I had to witness a lot of domestic violence. I feel that is the reason for a lot of my issues today.” (She homeschools their 3 kids – ages 10, 7 and 5.) I realized that I was missing God in my life here in jail. He is now my God and my Father.” (Hugo & Omar are cellmates; they are 2 of 17 inmates signed up by inmate Alfred H…) Praise God – “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun, and have found them all to be futile, a pursuit of the wind.” (Ecclesiastes 1:14)! They recently sent us this note in with their completed study worksheets: “We moved back to Pennsylvania to live with our grandkids who are older, and one great grandchild, Colton. Our granddaughter Marissa just turned 15. We found out lots of stuff she has been doing – very sinful things. Marissa has known about the Lord for years, and received Christ in 2021. But a long story short, her mother is my daughter, and Marissa has not been told NO in her life. Her parents gave her all she ever wanted, and they even know the Lord too. Please pray Marissa and her parents wake up. The mess is big, but God is bigger!!” Praise God – “Yet even now,” declares the LORD, “return to Me with all your heart, with fasting, weeping, and mourning.” (Joel 2:12)! Pray Marissa & her parents hear the Lord’s call, & come out of darkness.

Wednesday, 16^th: Inmate Tyler M…’s dad requested Bible studies for himself and for Tyler too. His dad recently sent this letter with his completed study worksheets: “On a phone call the other day, Tyler told me he did receive your Bible study. I asked him to go through the study and mail back the test pages. I sent Tyler a booklet of stamps so he can return them and not worry about where to get stamps.” (Tyler’s had it since June.) Praise God – “Listen, my sons, to a father’s instruction; pay attention and gain understanding.” (Proverbs 4:1)! Pray Tyler studies the two Bible lessons in his booklet, repents and believes in the gospel.

Thursday, 17^th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On October 4, at 1:25 PM, new student hopeful Steven W… emailed: “I hope to get a better understanding of who God is, and what my role is, as a parent, and as a church member. Friday, 18^th: WHAT IS MOST MEANINGFUL TO YOU FROM THIS STUDY? Vicky R… recently wrote: “Understanding the armor of God in this lesson is most meaningful to me. I need to let the Holy Spirit remind me of any and all unconfessed sin, to talk to God about it and ask Him for forgiveness. I still have a tendency to hold bitterness toward family members, and sometimes hatred. I need to let God handle this in my life. Every day I pray and ask God to extinguish those thoughts that flame up my anger. I want to have peace in my life and the way to do that is to surrender completely to God’s will and put on His armor of protection.” Praise God – “Bear with one another and forgive any complaint you may have against someone else. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” (Colossians 3:13)! Pray Vicky continues to follow the Spirit’s guidance.

I fell into drinking and being unhealthy. My eyes were reopened when our first grandson was born. He will be 1 this month and now we also have a grand baby girl. She will be 3 months old this month.” (Brianne first requested studies on 9/30/22, but she didn’t do any.) Praise God – “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, so that in due time He may exalt you.” (1 Peter 5:6)! Pray Brianne does her lessons, surrenders to Christ and finds a good local church.

No. I am working on my life to get there.” (We sent her next lessons on 9/24/2024, and extra reading that teaches eternal life is a gift from God through faith in Christ alone.) Praise God – “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to the family of faith.” (Galatians 6:10)! Pray John receives his first envelope with the study booklet and his letter.

Heaven is beautiful and I’ll get to see Jesus and He already knows who I am.
