Sunday, 17th: “Hello, how are you all doing? I write to tell you how much I enjoy doing these Bible lessons. Every morning I meditate on the word before I come out of my room. I am a “work in progress” and I love my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I live in a shelter for now, but will be moving into housing soon. Also, I was wondering if you had any more Christian tracts? I really enjoy reading them and passing them around. Thank you so much for what you do!! DeeAnn P…” Praise God – “The LORD will fulfill His purpose for me. Monday, 18th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On October 9 at 12:56 PM, new student hopeful Leslie B… e-mailed: “I hope to gain more understanding of the Bible so I can apply it to life’s challenges.” (First Bible lessons sent on October 13, 2021) Praise God – “May my cry come before You, O LORD; give me understanding according to Your word.” (Psalm 119:169)! Pray Leslie studies the lessons diligently; pray she applies His truth to her life’s challenges.

Tuesday, 19th: “Hi, how y’all doing today? Do y’all write letters of recommendation? If so, could y’all write one to the courts here and let them know I’m doing your Bible study program? I truly want a different life than the one I was living. I’m trying every day to change myself and bring myself closer to God. I’m almost 32 years old and my way hasn’t worked so far. Sincerely, Johnathan S…” (He just began studying; needs to do 3 courses.) Praise God – “We know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be rendered powerless, that we should no longer be slaves to sin.” (Rom 6:6)! Pray Johnathan surrenders to Christ.

Wednesday, 20th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On October 10 at 11:45 AM, new student hopeful Brianna G… e-mailed: “I hope to learn how to devote myself fully to Christ.” (First Bible lessons sent on October 13, 2021) Praise God – “The night is nearly over; the day has drawn near. So let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.” (Romans 13:12)! Pray Brianna follows Christ’s teaching w/o hesitation.

Thursday, 21st: “Dear Friends, please keep me in your prayers. I was in the hospital for three weeks with COVID and double pneumonia. I am home now but I’m very weak. Also, my car was wrecked while I was in the hospital and my finances are very bad. God bless, Gail M…” Praise God – “Beloved, I pray that in every way you may prosper and enjoy good health, as your soul also prospers.” (3 John 1:2)! Pray Gail finds a caring Bible-teaching church; pray she heals & trusts God for all.

Friday, 22nd: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On October 11 at 11:57 AM, new student hopeful Moriah D… e-mailed: “I am not sure what I hope to learn. I haven’t really been to church since my grandmother died in 2019. I am trying to get back to where I used to be, to grow closer to God again. I haven’t been able to try any churches near me since the pandemic started.” (First Bible lessons sent on October 13, 2021) Praise God – “Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Heb 10:25)! May the Lord heap upon you great rewards in Heaven for all the good you do in this unkind world we live in now. Sincerely, Christopher P…” (He is a 60-year-old prisoner.) Praise God – “Serve with good will, as to the Lord and not to men, because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free.” (Eph 6:7-8)! Pray Chris shares Christ.

Sunday, 10th: A letter requesting Bible studies arrived on September 21st and lessons were mailed that day. On September 27th Teresa K… wrote: “Thank you for enrolling me in these wonderful Bible lessons. I am battling sadness and fear for my sister, Serena. She has cancer. I ask you and yours pray for her. I just can’t seem to get enough of God’s word. I want to learn more and more. Thank you for your time and kindness.” Praise God – “Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved, for You are my praise.” (Jeremiah 17:14)! Pray Teresa studies more and shares God’s message of hope with her sister Serena.

Monday, 11th: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN? New student inmate DeAdrian G… (age 38) wrote: “In order to get to Heaven I must first believe Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins. Yes, on September 20, 2021.” (His 1st study was sent August 25, 2021) Praise God – “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace” (Ephesians 1:7)! Pray DeAdrian keeps studying & memorizes Bible verses.

Tuesday, 12th: A letter from nana Vickie A… requesting Bible studies for 5-year-old Bentley A… arrived on September 5th and on that day appropriate studies were mailed. On October 4th we had Bentley’s completed worksheet. Here are his worksheet’s last 2 questions: HAVE YOU TAKEN THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN? Bentley’s response with his nana’s help: “Yes, on September 24, 2021, today!” Praise God – “Grandchildren are the crown of the aged, and the pride of children is their parents.” (Proverbs 17:6)! Pray Bentley & nana Vickie continue studying together; pray Bentley tells others about Jesus.

Wednesday, 13th: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN? New student inmate Bryan W… (age 28) wrote: “That Christ still loves me even though I am a sinner. Yes, when I was doing this lesson on September 5, 2021.” (His 1st study was sent August 26, 2021) Praise God – “But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)! Pray Bryan repents of sinful things the Holy Spirit reveals to him; pray he finds a godly friend.

We are saved by what God has done for us through His Son. Yes, on September 14, 2021.” (His 1st study was sent September 12, 2021) Praise God – “He was delivered over to death for our trespasses and was raised to life for our justification.” (Romans 4:25)! Pray Brad keeps studying, finds an inmate to study with and shares his faith.

On October 8 at 9:55 AM, new student hopeful Karl C… e-mailed: “I don’t understand faith, how it works and how God talks to us today.” (His first study was mailed October 8, 2021) Praise God – “Now faith is the assurance of what we hope for and the certainty of what we do not see.” (Hebrews 11:1)! Sunday, 5th: “Lesson 8, Protection – Our Christian Armor. The most important thing I learned from the lesson is that we cannot let our guard down when it comes to Satan. Every day we must put on the armor of God by reading scriptures that are true. God is all powerful. Then Satan cannot put things in our minds that are not true. The Christian life is not easy. Satan can steer us away from God and His word. When I wake up, my armor is ready to defeat Satan and his lies. Wednesday, 8th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On August 31 at 9:36 AM, new student hopeful Sierra H… e-mailed: “I hope to learn more about who God is and how to have a relationship with him.” (First lessons mailed out on 9.2.21) Praise God – “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Thursday, 9th: Cristal C… and Jocelyn O… are fellow inmates who study together. They started studying on June 4, 2019, and now they are doing course #11. Cristal indicated she had received the Lord as her Savior on June 21, 2019. Jocelyn wrote that she had received Jesus on June 17, 2019. Praise God – “Therefore encourage and build one another up, just as you are already doing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:11)! Pray Cristal & Jocelyn boldly share Christ’s message of reconciliation with fellow inmates.

I was saved on November 6, 2019. It’s my understanding that it is my duty, as a Christian, to try to reach the lost and correct my brothers. There are these friends of mine who are opposed to work and they sell drugs. They are believers and under the impression that as long as they believe in God and pray everything will be okay. I tell them they may still go to heaven, but they are going to be punished here on earth. Am I telling them the truth? Won’t they pay? One guy’s father was a drug dealer his entire life, spending about 12 years in prison. Now he is doing it. What do you recommend I tell them? Thanks for your time.” (3 helpful documents sent with his next studies on 8.18.21) Praise God – “So know in your heart that just as a man disciplines his son, so the LORD your God disciplines you.” (Deuteronomy 8:5)! Thursday, 26th: IF YOU HAVE BEEN BORN AGAIN, PLEASE GIVE US YOUR TESTIMONY. Henrry P… shared: “At age 19, I was in trouble with people who wanted to take my life. One day my dad taught me with scripture what Cristo had done for us. That day my life began to change because I accepted Cristo in my heart.” (He is now incarcerated at age 30.) Praise God – “For I am ready to fall, and my pain is ever with me. Yes, I confess my iniquity; I am troubled by my sin.” (Psalm 38:17-18)! Pray Henrry acknowledges his sin in confession to God & whoever else.

I’m back in court for a resentencing to remove the life sentence and maybe if all goes well, God willing, I might get immediate release. I get resentenced on August 23, 2021. I’ll keep in contact as to where I get relocated, so you can send my other Bible studies by mail to my new address. In Christ, Uiese M…” (He started studying in August 2020) Praise God – “Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!” (Psalm 34:8)! Sunday, 8th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On August 1 at 5:21 PM, new student hopeful Sonia Y… e-mailed: “I work with foster children and young adults. I hope to be able to inspire them and help them through tough times with God’s word. Some believe they must be perfect to be a Christian or read the Bible. They have the wrong perception of Christians. I tell them we are all flawed and sinners and fall short of the glory of God. I want to study more of the word so that I am saying the right things to them.” (She also requested studies for Aliyah age 16) Praise God – “Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:” (Romans 3:24)! Pray Sonia and Aliyah study all the lessons we mail & return their worksheets for more to do.

Monday, 9th: Inmate Stephen Y… requested prayer for: “family and friends, getting out of here safe and sound, find a place to live, a church, a job, a godly wife and God’s purpose.” (He began studying in July 2019) Praise God – “Even before they call, I will answer, and while they are still speaking, I will hear…says the LORD.” (Isaiah 65:24)! Pray Stephen keeps studying God’s word & calling upon Him to fulfill his heart’s desires.

New student inmate Ashley C… (age 39) wrote: “That I am a sinner and God loves me and sent Jesus to die for my sins. Yes, I recently rededicated my life to God on July 16, 2021.” (Her first studies were mailed on July 6, 2021) Praise God – “Commit your way to the LORD; trust in Him, and He will do it.” (Psalm 37:5)! Pray Ashley rereads completed study booklets while waiting for her next ones to arrive; pray she shares the gospel boldly.

Pray Kenneth, Tondra & Justice do their studies, talk about them & pray together.

Yes, on July 19, 2021.” (Her first studies were mailed on July 13, 2021) Praise God – “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)! Pray Felicia memorizes key Bible verses in her lessons and shares with others.

New student inmate Josue C… (age 36) wrote: “That Christ died for my sins, our sins, and he tells us he will never leave us nor forsake us. I believe him. Yes, on July 27, 2021. I just prayed the prayer on page 19. Thank you.” (His first studies were mailed on July 22, 2021) Praise God – “The LORD Himself goes before you; He will be with you. New student inmate Juan L… (age 47) wrote: [El Hijo de Dios] The Son of God loved us so much that He became a man to die for our sins. Yes, right now, 7/23/21” (First Spanish lessons mailed 6/28/21) Praise God – “He was delivered over to death for our trespasses and was raised to life for our justification.” (Romans 4:25)! Pray Juan meets with other inmates, in the jail pod, who study the Bible also.

Monday, 2nd: “7/19/2021 [Hola!] Hi! Here in jail nothing is easy. Every day they give us one hour outside the cell. When we are let out, three of us study the word of God and pray for everyone. I can’t be around other prisoners because I was a member of the Azteca gang. Thank you, brothers, for having me in your prayers. Your brother, Jesús J…” (He began studying, on June 30, 2021, as a 3-month-old in the Lord.) Praise God – “All the believers were together and had everything in common.” (Acts 2:44)! Pray Jesús writes letters to share the Gospel message with his family, in nearby ___ ___, México.

Tuesday, 3rd: “Monday, July 19, 2021. The lawyer I had was really great and after all was said and done, we won 15 months off my sentence. The good news is I still have one more appeal and if we win that one, I could get ten years taken off. I am trusting in God though and letting Him work through my lawyer. Jason R…” Praise God – “Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is our refuge. Selah” (Psalms 62:8)! Pray Jason stands firm on the Bible’s teaching and shares God’s truth lovingly and boldly.

Yes, today, 7-17-21” (First English lessons mailed 7/7/21) Praise God – “But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)! Pray Jenn rereads her completed studies and continues doing the new studies she receives.

Thursday, 5th: “Dear Bible study friends, Could I please ask for prayers for my daughter Robin? She is going through a very rough divorce with two small children. Thank you, Bobbie N…” Praise God – “I know that the LORD upholds justice for the poor and defends the cause of the needy.” (Psalm 140:12)! Pray Bobbie shares God’s promises; pray Robin trusts in the Lord and surrenders all to Him.

Praise God – “Oh, that my ways were committed to keeping Your statutes!” (Psalm 119:5)! Pray Ashley sees the Lord as her only hope in regards to her family and future career; pray she hungers for God’s word.

Sunday, 25th: “Dear MY NEW LIFE IN CHRIST family, please forgive my lateness in returning lessons 15 – 18. I didn’t have any stamps or envelopes for about a week and a half. I don’t want you to think that I’ve lost interest or gave up on learning and studying God’s word. I really enjoy these lessons and look forward to them always. I want to receive the next lessons and finish the whole program. I am from Columbia and I ask you to pray for my mom Francia. She was in a car accident and had surgery on her knee. But her ligaments haven’t healed.Praise God – “How sweet are Your words to my taste–sweeter than honey in my mouth!” (Psalm 119:103)! Pray Julian keeps studying and gets his court date; pray Francia’s knee heals.

My husband has cancer and I do Bible studies while he’s taking his Chemo treatments.” (She will redo the courses) Praise God – “They feast on the abundance of Your house, and You give them drink from Your river of delights.” (Psalm 36:8)! Although I know that if I just trust in God and His plan for my life, then everything will be alright. Pray Rooney and Vivienne study and pray together.

Our faith is what saves us, not works, but we are still to have works to show our love for what Jesus did for us.” Praise God – “So too, faith by itself, if it does not result in action, is dead.” (James 2:17)! Pray Colt desires to be Christ-like toward other inmates; pray they desire to study God’s word too.

God is just to forgive me for my sins. I know I just need to let God handle it.” Praise God – “He did this to demonstrate His righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and to justify the one who has faith in Jesus.” (Romans 3:26)! Pray Juan surrenders himself daily.

Yes, today, 6-25-2021.” (First studies sent 6/21/21) Praise God – “For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all” (1 Tim. 2:5-6a)! Pray John keeps studying.

What do you suggest to do or pray to combat these things? Adrian V…” (He is an inmate and a new believer) Praise God – “But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of eternal sin.” (Mark 3:29)! Pray Adrian reads 5 helpful documents & keeps doing his lessons.

Friday, 23rd: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU LEARNED IN THIS LESSON? Inmate Lars I… (age 53) shared: “God can bring good out of a bad situation if we trust Him. Self-control is giving up total control of myself to God.” Praise God – “And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28)! Pray Lars shares God’s truth boldly.
