“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” Psalm 51:10

Sunday, 26th: “Please pray for me. I was locked up on charges that I didn’t do. I was staying at a motel and someone took my truck and out run the police. I didn’t report it stolen and two weeks later they lock me up and say I was in the truck. The office had said I had gold teeth. I didn’t even have any teeth then. I know that through the prayers of my brothers and sisters, the courts will find this out. Your brother in Christ, James R…” (He has been studying in jail since October 3, 2016.)

Praise God – “Into Your hands I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O LORD, God of truth.”(Psalm 31:5)! Pray James studies faithfully, keeps his eyes on Jesus & shares God’s truth with other inmates.

Monday, 27th: Inmate Israel H… (age 52) surrendered his life to Christ while doing lessons 1 and 2 of his first study course. March 11, 2019, we sent him lessons 3 thru 6 and waited. He wrote on May 13: “I sent you my test pages for lessons 3-6 about a month ago. We were in lockdown when I gave them to the officer, so I’m thinking maybe he didn’t mail them out. I don’t know what happened. If you didn’t get my question sheets for lessons 3-6, please resend them and I’ll do them again.”

Praise God – “I wait for the LORD; my soul does wait, and in His word I put my hope.”(Psalm 130:5)! Pray Israel memorizes God’s word and puts His teaching into practice without hesitation.

Tuesday, 28th: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN?  New student Regina R… (age 45) wrote: “Jesus is the only way to Heaven. Yes, when I was a child. But I took the wrong road and was on drugs for 25 years. I would read the Bible a lot in jail. That’s how I learned about God. I got clean on 9-15-15. God changed my life. My husband is now almost 3 years clean. We could not have done it without God.”

Praise God – “I have hidden Your word in my heart that I might not sin against You.”(Psalm 119:11)! Pray Regina and her husband continue to read & study God’s word. Pray they reach out to other addicts.

Friday, 31st: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN?  New student inmate Zachary P… (age 22) wrote: “That Jesus is the doorway to heaven. Yes. 5/11/19” (the first lessons were mailed to him on 5-6-19)

Praise God – “I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.”(John 10:9)! Pray Zachary finds another believer in his jail pod to share and pray with regularly.

Saturday, 1st: “I am writing to say I am sorry for taking so long to finish my studies. As you can see, I have moved to another prison and it took time to adjust. While I was being transferred here, I caught Bell’s palsy. I’m getting better, one day at a time. So please keep me in prayer. Michael R…” Praise God – “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”(Psalm 73:26)!
