Palm Sunday, 24th: An email request, from a mission colleague, on 3/20/24: “(Deseo pedirte un favor) I want to ask you a favor. I have a friend who lives in New Mexico and I have been sharing the Word of God with her for some time. She calls herself catholic but she wants to receive lessons from (Fuente de Luz) Source of Light. This is my friend’s name and address… Rosa R… New Mexico. I will be very grateful if you send her the lessons in Spanish. Dalila C…” (Rosa’s first 4 Spanish Bible lessons were mailed on 3/21/24.) Praise God – “I planted the seed and Apollos watered it, but God made it grow.” (1 Cor. 3:6)! Pray Rosa studies her 4 lessons & returns the Test Pages for processing; pray she trusts in Christ alone for her salvation.

Monday, 25th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On March 17, at 7:24 PM, new student hopeful Debra A… e-mailed: “How to cope with bipolar depression and how to survive physical and sexual abuse, and drug and alcohol abuse. How to restore my faith.” (First study mailed 3/20/24.) Here’s what she emailed back after we let her know her first study was in the mail: “I just want to thank you so much!! I’m excited to continue to change my life, to start back down the path of Christ.” Praise God – “No one, Lord,” she answered. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Now go and sin no more.” (Jn. 8:11)! Pray Debra does her lessons, finds a Bible believing church & a godly mentor.

Tuesday, 26th: Timothy V… (age 36) did his 1st study: Here’s what he wrote when asked WHAT he’d learned and IF he’d received Jesus: “I must come as a sinner to the Lord Jesus and receive Him as my Savior. Yes, today, March 13, 2024” (1st studies mailed 2/28/24 to him & his mom Sharon, age 65; she’s a 4-month-old in Christ.) Praise God – “In the same way, I tell you that there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous ones who do not need to repent.” (Lk. 15:7)! Pray they both keep studying.

Wednesday, 27th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On March 18, at 6:31 AM, past student Naomi B… e-mailed: “I have gotten to learn that without God, you can’t make it. He has been so good to me, and He has seen me through some hard times. He will never leave you nor forsake you even though your so-called friends do. I am praying the Lord guides me in the way He wants me to go and that He helps me with this battle because I know I can’t do this alone by myself. I am going to finish my courses because I really enjoy them! Please pray for me!!!!” (Restarted her study program on 3/19/24.) Praise God – “Give us aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless.” (Psa. 60:11)! Pray Naomi restarts studying her lessons; pray she finds godly friendships & cuts close ties with ungodly ones.

Praise God – “Philip, I have been with you all this time, and still you do not know Me? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?” (Jn. 14:9b)! Pray Tyler shares Christ.

Good Friday, 29th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On March 20, at 5:57 AM, new student hopeful Tammy M… e-mailed: “I hope to learn how to live my life better than I am doing now. I have let seeds of sorrow, pain and death enter my life, and I don’t know how to get back to God. My life isn’t working now and I don’t even want to get out of bed. I hate my life. I want to learn what God wants me to do. I want to get back to where I should never have left.” (Study mailed 3/21/24.) Praise God – “I will get up and go back to my father and say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.”” (Lu. 15:18)! Pray Tammy studies hard, memorizes verses & surrenders all to Christ.

Only through Him can man or woman ever enter the heavenly gates!” (Homer is a 2 ½-month-old in Christ.) Praise God – “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (Jn 14:6)! Pray Homer studies diligently and intentionally shares Christ with cellmates.
