Sunday, 18th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On May 8 at 2:13 PM, hopeful new student Jamaca H… emailed: “I just want the Lord to help me get through the grief of losing my 17-year-old and the ability to forgive the person who accidently killed him in a car crash. I have been so angry with the Lord. But now I want to regain my faith. There are so many things, so good in life, still to have praise for.” (First study sent on 5-14-25) Praise God – “Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise, the fruit of lips that confess His name.” (Hebrews 13:15)! Pray Jamaca does her lessons with a Bible and lives out her faith.
Monday, 19th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? Audrey F… (age 35) wrote: “I have learned that Jesus is the way to Heaven. Jesus is the One anointed by God, and I must accept Him to get into Heaven. The only way to Heaven is through Jesus. I also learned about the ten commandments and their importance. Yes, I received Jesus as my Savior on April 30, 2025.” (This study was sent on April 24, 2025.) Praise God – “For You granted Him authority over all people, so that He may give eternal life to all those You have given Him.” (John 17:2)! Pray Audrey keeps studying and finds a Bible-teaching church to attend.
Tuesday, 20th: WHAT ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THESE LESSONS? Seventy-three-year-old Brenda R… shared: “If we abide in Christ, every circumstance that comes to us is an opportunity to bring forth fruit for God. Living for ourselves instead of living for God is sin.” Praise God – “This is to My Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, proving yourselves to be My disciples.” (John 15:8)! Pray Brenda shares God’s message of truth and hope with her family, friends and neighbors.
Wednesday, 21st: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On May 11 at 6:22 PM, hopeful new student Taylor W… emailed: “I am not religious, but I want to start. I didn’t grow up with God’s teachings, but I want to learn.” (First study sent on 5-14-25) Praise God – “Teach me Your way, O LORD, that I may walk in Your truth. Give me an undivided heart, that I may fear Your name.” (Psalm 86:11)! Pray Taylor sees Jesus as the way, the truth and the life and believes in Him.
Thursday, 22nd: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On May 12 at 12:27 PM, hopeful new student Sherry S… emailed: “I hope to learn how to love, forgive, trust, and be the woman God has called me to be. On February 14 of this year, I gave my life to God. And I have been trying to do whatever it is that He wants me to do.” (First study sent on 5-15-25) Praise God – “I know, O LORD, that a man’s way is not his own; no one who walks directs his own steps.” (Jeremiah 10:23)! Pray Sherry studies her lessons and memorizes key verses; pray she shares the gospel when prompted by God.
Friday, 23rd: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On May 15 at 3:12 AM, hopeful new student Tina W… emailed: “I hope to stay on God’s path and help family and anyone to find His love, peace and salvation.” (First study sent on 5-15-25) Praise God – “The steps of a man are ordered by the LORD who takes delight in his journey.” (Psalm 37:23)! Pray Tina studies the 20 lessons in her first course and faithfully puts God’s teaching into practice.
Saturday, 24th: PRAYER REQUEST from Bible Studies by Mail, Inc.: B.S.B.M.’s Advisory Board is asking the LORD to provide new leaders with ministry experience. A couple who has their personal financial support or are willing to raise it. They would work with current missionary leaders, Darryl and Joan Evans, and then eventually become missionaries with or seconded to Source of Light Ministries International. Praise God – “Now faith is the assurance of what we hope for and the certainty of what we do not see.” (Hebrews 11:1)! Pray B.S.B.M. hears of or from a missionary couple seeking mission work in North America.
