Sunday, 27th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS LESSON? Inmate William M… (age 48) wrote: “Losing my joy is a warning light that something is wrong. I need to walk by faith not by sight. I am born again. I am in Christ and Christ dwells in me. My old self is dead, and I am a new creation in Christ!” Praise God – “By this we know that we remain in Him, and He in us: He has given us of His Spirit.” (1 John 4:13)! Pray William shares this gospel truth with family and cellmates; pray he starts each day with God.
Monday, 28th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On April 21 at 6:15 PM, hopeful new student Alyssa E… emailed: “I’m looking to grow in my relationship with God, and learn and understand the Bible more, and to be able to use the Bible as a guide throughout my life.” (1st studies were mailed to Alyssa and Carter her 9-year-old son on 4.23.2025) Praise God – “The precepts of the LORD are right, bringing joy to the heart; the commandments of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.” (Psalm 19:8)! Pray Alyssa and Carter study, share and pray together.
Tuesday, 29th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS LESSON? Inmate Dean P… (age 35) wrote: “That we are made new when we are born again, except for our wretched flesh. However, spiritually we are forever seated now in the heavenly places with Christ. God makes His plan clear to those with spiritual ‘eyes’ to see it. And thank God He does, because we certainly don’t deserve it!” Praise God – “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,” (Ephesians 2:6)! Pray Dean teaches the truth, evangelizes the lost and encourages fellow believers.
Wednesday, 30th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? Inmate Thomas C… (age 35) wrote: “Jesus Christ is my Lord. I need to put God first in my life above all else. Yes, on April 14, 2015.” Praise God – “Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.”” (Matthew 28:18)! Pray Thomas keeps studying the first course and keeps sharing with his two jail chaplains.
Thursday, 1st: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On April 23 at 4:43 AM, hopeful new student Cassianna H… emailed: “I want my 8-year-old son Benjamin and myself to walk through studying the Bible together. I have a relationship with God, and he is just starting his. I want him to have an unbreakable faith and comfort in Jesus.” (First studies ready for the mail, on 4.23.2025, at 8:03 AM.) Praise God – “Now faith is the assurance of what we hope for and the certainty of what we do not see.” (Hebrews 11:1)! Pray Cassianna and Benjamin study together, talk about the Bible’s teaching and pray about life.
Friday, 2nd: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS LESSON? Barbara C… (age 51) wrote: “That my own understanding will not lead me to Christ, only Jesus can save my soul. In order to go to Heaven, I must believe the way is through Jesus Christ. My true journey begins now.” Praise God – “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;” (Proverbs 3:5)! Pray Barbara surrenders all to Christ, as her Savior and Lord and finds a Bible-teaching church.
Saturday, 3rd: PRAYER REQUEST from Bible Studies by Mail, Inc.: B.S.B.M.’s Advisory Board is asking the LORD to provide new leaders with ministry experience. A couple who has their personal financial support or are willing to raise it. They would work with current missionary leaders, Darryl and Joan Evans, and then eventually become missionaries with or seconded to Source of Light Ministries International. Praise God – “Now faith is the assurance of what we hope for and the certainty of what we do not see.” (Hebrews 11:1)! Pray B.S.B.M. hears of or from a missionary couple seeking mission work in North America.
