“The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.” Lamentations 3:25-26

Sunday, 24^th: Inmate Menique L… began to study on 11/16/2021. She recently shared: “Please pray for me to stop cursing. I’ve been trying for 30+ years. I’ve read 47 Bibles from start to finish. Please help me in your prayer circle.” (She’s 54 years old and wrote that she was saved at age 8.) Praise God – “With all my heart I have sought You; do not let me stray from Your commandments.” (Psalm 119:10)! Pray Menique memorizes & personally lives out key verses from her Bible reading & lessons.

Monday, 25^th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? Sandy S… (age 52) wrote: “God has power over all things. God loves me and I am a sinner. Christ died for me and offers me eternal life, by faith, by believing. Yes. September 12, 2023.” (She didn’t do the 1^st study sent on 08/15/18; she did this one resent on 08/29/23.) Praise God – “By His power God raised the Lord from the dead, and He will raise us also.” (1 Cor. 6:14)! Pray Sandy keeps studying the lessons we send and returning their worksheets to receive her next studies.

Tuesday, 26^th: Amanda M… (age 56) wrote: “I am so sorry it took me a while to do these lessons. They truly touched my heart. God was really talking to me. I have been feeling like I’m wasting my life. I’m scared to tell others about God’s grace and mercy, because I’m afraid that I might say something wrong. I haven’t been reading the Bible and going to church. I suffer from depression. I have so much bottled up inside. I know I need to talk to someone because I can’t do it alone. I want to thank you for these lessons.” (a 5-year-old in Christ) Praise God – “So we say with confidence: “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”” (Heb. 13:6)! Pray Amanda reads her Bible daily, finds a Bible-teaching church and a godly mentor.

Wednesday, 27^th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? Jillian W… (age 34) wrote: “That Jesus died on the cross for our sins and He is the only way to God. Yes. Today, 9-9-23.” (She didn’t do the 1^st study sent 12/02/22; she did this one resent on 08/29/23. Jillian’s 5-year-old son studies too; they reside with Kevin – see Friday’s note.) Praise God – “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”” (Jn. 14:6)! Pray Jillian finds a Bible-teaching church, keeps studying & helping her son.

Thursday, 28^th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On September 14, at 8:54 PM, hopeful new student Carolina C… (age 17) e-mailed: “I hope to learn more about how God wants me to live for Him and what His purpose is for my life in this world.” (First study mailed on 09/20/23.) Praise God – “Yes, we wait for You, O LORD; we walk in the path of Your judgments. Your name and renown are the desire of our souls.” (Isa. 26:8)! Pray Carolina gets her first study and surrenders all to Christ.

Friday, 29^th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? Kevin R… (age 30) wrote: “God died for our sins and we must repent of them. Yes. On Sept 9, 2023.” (He also didn’t do the 1^st study sent on 12/02/22; he did this one resent on 08/29/23.) Praise God – “The time is fulfilled,” He said, “and the kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe in the gospel!” (Mark 1:15)! Pray Kevin finds a Bible-teaching church, studies his next lessons and obeys God’s voice.

Saturday, 30^th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On September 13, at 9:25 AM, hopeful new student Isadora M… (age 18) e-mailed: “I hope to learn what He needs from me and how to strengthen my relationship with Him, regardless of my very busy schedule.” (First study mailed on 09/21/23.) Praise God – “Then Jesus said to all of them, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me.”” (Luke 9:23)! Pray Isadora submits to Christ & follows Him closely.
