Sunday, 29th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On October 24, at 3:48 AM, hopeful new student Paula A… e-mailed for herself, two teenagers and three children: “To get a better understanding of God’s word and how to effectively apply it to my life.” (First studies, for the six of them, were mailed on 10/27/23.) Praise God – “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you.” (Jn. 14:26)! Pray Paula & her kids study together.
Monday, 30th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On October 24, at 11:47 AM, hopeful new student Mildred Mo… e-mailed for herself and for Mary Ma…: “To learn more about the Lord Jesus and how to follow Him.” (First studies were mailed to Arkansas & Georgia on 10/27/23.) Praise God – “Come, follow Me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” (Matthew 4:19)! Pray Mary Mo and Mary Ma do their studies, share the gospel with neighbors and call each other to praise God & to pray.
Tuesday, 31st: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? Jena N… wrote: “I learned who Jesus Christ is and I learned how to get to heaven by following the teaching of Jesus. No. N/A. Darryl & Joan Evans, if you don’t mind, may I ask you a question? Am I learning a catholic Bible study? The Jesus Christ I am believing is catholic, so I want to make sure I am learning the correct one.” (Lessons 3 – 6 were mailed to her, on 10/24/23, along with a letter.) Praise God – “For no one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 3:11)! Pray Jena opens her Bible and thoroughly reads the verses, as she studies each lesson.
Wednesday, 1st: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On October 24, at 11:14 PM, hopeful new student Kaylee T… e-mailed for herself and for Kyle A…: “I really want a Bible study, to understand and get closer to God.” (First studies mailed to the same address on 10/27/23.) Praise God – “The night is nearly over; the day has drawn near. So let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.” (Romans 13:12)! Pray Kaylee & Kyle study, pray and obey God’s word.
Thursday, 2nd: “Thursday, 10.19.2023 I do enjoy these studies and I am so grateful. A young 39-year-old friend was asking questions, so I gave him my study booklets. He reads and finds answers for himself and he’s found a good church. My granddaughter lives with me because of her situation. I am trying to be a good Christian role model for her. I thank God for your work, Martha M…” (Martha is 76-years-young.) Praise God – “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light, …in all goodness, righteousness, and truth.” (Eph. 5:8-9b)! Pray Martha studies with her granddaughter.
Friday, 3rd: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On October 26, at 9:07 AM, hopeful new student Derek K… e-mailed: “I don’t know what I want to learn. I just hope to learn about the Bible.” (First study mailed on 10/27/23.) Praise God – “The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever.” (Psalm 119:160)! Pray Derek does his lessons, rereads the verses, talks to God & surrenders his life to Christ.
Saturday, 4th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On October 26, at 12:01 PM, hopeful new student Katerina H… e-mailed: “I hope to learn about the path upon which we should walk, to be guided by God to the right way.” (First study mailed to London, UK on 10/27/23.) Praise God – “You have made known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand.” (Psalm 16:11)! Pray Katerina studies God’s word & trusts in Christ.
