Sunday, 24th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On October 14 at 12:09 PM, new student hopeful Jimmy H… e-mailed: “I hope to study with my family, to teach my children about God, to learn His plan for us and our lives, to have a better understanding of what He would have for us, to develop discernment of His word, to know and recognize false teachings.” (First Bible lessons sent, on October 20, 2021, to Jimmy, his wife and three children ages 14, 12 and 5) Praise God – “Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe in Your commandments.” (Psalm 119:66)! Pray Jimmy, Stephanie, Tristen, Braden and Lilyanna study their lessons and talk and pray together.

Monday, 25th: “10-6-21 My name is Lou Ann M…  I am currently in the __ County Jail, in __ Texas. I’m housed with two very special and dear friends of mine. In the ½ month that I’ve been here both Christina R… and Faith V… have helped me to open up my life to Jesus Christ for His truth and forgiveness. I am not sure how long I’ll be here, but while I am I’d love another way to spend my time other than watching TV. Please send me Bible studies.” (Both Christina and Faith are studying with several other inmate ladies.) Praise God – “So it is said: “Wake up, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”” (Ephesians 5:14)! Pray Lou Ann receives her first studies w/o delay; pray she studies by herself & with others.

Tuesday, 26th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On October 15 at 2:09 PM, new student hopeful Kelly S… e-mailed: “I hope to learn just how to focus my life better and to be more vigilant in attacks from Satan and his minions.” (First Bible lessons sent on October 20, 2021) Praise God – “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” (1 Pe 5:8)! Pray Kelly studies God’s word, takes it to heart & puts it to practice.

Wednesday, 27th: Sabrina R… finished the course PRACTICAL CHRISTIAN LIVING and shared: “Seeing God in all our circumstances. I have always been a little confused by Romans 8:28. However I would never question anything about God. So many people ask me why God lets bad things happen to Christians or good people. I never knew how to answer it. Would you help me with this?” (Additional helpful study materials were mailed.) Praise God – “Yet man is born to trouble as surely as sparks fly upward.” (Job 5:7)! Pray Sabrina reads and rereads the extra literature mailed; pray she learns, through faith, to rest in her Heavenly Father’s arms.

Thursday, 28th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On October 16 at 9:44 PM, new student hopeful Brittany A… e-mailed: “I hope I can study alone and understand more. My grandma passed away and I’m trying to find out what way is best to study and understand everything.” (First Bible lessons sent on October 20, 2021) Praise God – “I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go; I will give you counsel and watch over you.” (Psalm 32:8)! Pray Brittany reads her Bible, studies her lessons, memorizes verses and shares them.

Friday, 29th: Diane B… shared what she had learned in her last study: “If we turn our lives over to God and allow Him to live in us, we can deal with our life problems.” Praise God – “And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.” (Rom 8:28)! Pray Diane lives every day in submission to the LORD.

Saturday, 30th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On October 17 at 8:44 AM, new student hopeful Courtney H… e-mailed: “I hope to learn His ways, how to live like Jesus, teach my 9-year-old daughter and grow with my husband.” (First Bible lessons sent on October 20, 2021) Praise God – “Teach me Your way, O LORD, that I may walk in Your truth. Give me an undivided heart, that I may fear Your name.” (Psalm 86:11)! Pray Courtney and Aliyah do their Bible studies and pray together.
