Sunday, 22^nd: “10/15/23 Hi, I write you today because I would like to ask you for special prayer for my sons Julian and Eduardo C… They are very upset with me for my mistakes. Would you please? Pray for me too, I am feeling very lonely. I don’t have friends here in jail. Yet I would like to have a better relationship with others and especially Jesus. I want Jesus to fill all the emptiness in my heart and feel that He is my best friend. I don’t know why God is telling me to write you this letter but I believe if I ask for help, He hears us. Thank you for your time and prayers, Noemi D…” Praise God – “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.” (Psa. 23:5)! Pray Noemi trusts & obeys God; pray Julian & Eduardo repent & believe.

Monday, 23^rd: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On October 17, at 11:44 AM, hopeful new student Brittany G… e-mailed: “I always considered myself Christian and only recently learned what that really means. I’ve never read the entire Bible. I desire to learn so I can teach my children.” (First studies for Brittany and her 13-year-old daughter Abbygayl were mailed on 10/19/23.) Praise God – “Why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ but not do what I say?” (Luke 6:46)! Pray Brittany and Abbygayl do their studies, talk and pray together, confess their sins to God and repent & believe in the gospel.

Tuesday, 24^th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? Jonitta B… (age 55) wrote: “The only way to Heaven is through Jesus Christ. He is the way, the truth and the life. To become a child of God and have eternal life is only through my Savior Jesus Christ. Yes. September 24^th in …, Kentucky” (This study was mailed to her on 9/21/23.) Praise God – “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.” (John 3:17)! Pray Jonitta keeps studying her first course and finds a Bible-teaching church.

Wednesday, 25^th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On October 17, at 1:35 PM, hopeful new student Dillon C… e-mailed: “I hope to learn as much as I possibly can and how to better share it with others.” (His first study was mailed on 10/19/23.) Praise God – “I pray that your partnership in the faith may become effective as you fully acknowledge every good thing that is ours in Christ.” (Philemon 1:6)! Pray Dillon studies alone and then studies with others.

Thursday, 26^th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? Inmate Brandon G… (age 39) wrote: “I learned who Jesus is and how to be saved. I learned how to get to Heaven. Yes, I accepted Jesus Christ in my heart today, October 18, 2023” (This study, at the request of his girlfriend Crystal R…, was mailed to him on 10/4/23; she emailed BSBM Brandon’s test pages and comments on 10/19/23.) Praise God – “It is just as the Scripture says: “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame.”” (Romans 10:11)! Pray Brandon befriends cellmate believers; pray he signs up interested cellmates.

Friday, 27^th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On October 18, at 9:11 AM, hopeful new student Ashley S… e-mailed: “I would love to grow a connection with Jesus Christ and understand the word better.” (On 10/19/23, lessons were mailed to Ashley & John [adults] and to Anaya [10] and Santana [14].) Praise God – “From infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.” (2 Timothy 3:15)! Pray John, Ashley, Anaya & Santana study together.

Saturday, 28^th: “If possible, can you please help me with return postage. It is becoming difficult for me to provide postage and I would like to continue studying lessons. Thank you, Lauren M…” (Lauren is an inmate; she’s 1 of 45 signed up to study by inmate ‘evangelist / teacher’ Jeannette S… – Praise the LORD!) Praise God – “For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.” (Matthew 7:8)! Pray Lauren keeps studying, memorizes verses & shares Christ’s love boldly.
