Sunday, 17th: “Hello, how are you all doing? I write to tell you how much I enjoy doing these Bible lessons. Every morning I meditate on the word before I come out of my room. I am a “work in progress” and I love my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I live in a shelter for now, but will be moving into housing soon. Also, I was wondering if you had any more Christian tracts? I really enjoy reading them and passing them around. Thank you so much for what you do!! DeeAnn P…” Praise God – “The LORD will fulfill His purpose for me. O LORD, Your loving devotion endures forever–do not abandon the works of Your hands.” (Psalm 138:8)! Pray DeeAnn keeps studying & sharing God’s word.

Monday, 18th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On October 9 at 12:56 PM, new student hopeful Leslie B… e-mailed: “I hope to gain more understanding of the Bible so I can apply it to life’s challenges.” (First Bible lessons sent on October 13, 2021) Praise God – “May my cry come before You, O LORD; give me understanding according to Your word.” (Psalm 119:169)! Pray Leslie studies the lessons diligently; pray she applies His truth to her life’s challenges.

Tuesday, 19th: “Hi, how y’all doing today? Do y’all write letters of recommendation? If so, could y’all write one to the courts here and let them know I’m doing your Bible study program? I truly want a different life than the one I was living. I’m trying every day to change myself and bring myself closer to God. I’m almost 32 years old and my way hasn’t worked so far. Sincerely, Johnathan S…” (He just began studying; needs to do 3 courses.) Praise God – “We know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be rendered powerless, that we should no longer be slaves to sin.” (Rom 6:6)! Pray Johnathan surrenders to Christ.

Wednesday, 20th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On October 10 at 11:45 AM, new student hopeful Brianna G… e-mailed: “I hope to learn how to devote myself fully to Christ.” (First Bible lessons sent on October 13, 2021) Praise God – “The night is nearly over; the day has drawn near. So let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.” (Romans 13:12)! Pray Brianna follows Christ’s teaching w/o hesitation.

Thursday, 21st: “Dear Friends, please keep me in your prayers. I was in the hospital for three weeks with COVID and double pneumonia. I am home now but I’m very weak. Also, my car was wrecked while I was in the hospital and my finances are very bad. God bless, Gail M…” Praise God – “Beloved, I pray that in every way you may prosper and enjoy good health, as your soul also prospers.” (3 John 1:2)! Pray Gail finds a caring Bible-teaching church; pray she heals & trusts God for all.

Friday, 22nd: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On October 11 at 11:57 AM, new student hopeful Moriah D… e-mailed: “I am not sure what I hope to learn. I haven’t really been to church since my grandmother died in 2019. I am trying to get back to where I used to be, to grow closer to God again. I haven’t been able to try any churches near me since the pandemic started.” (First Bible lessons sent on October 13, 2021) Praise God – “Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Heb 10:25)! Pray Moriah finds a good church.

Saturday, 23rd: “Greetings! God bless you all! I am looking forward to my next two study booklets. Love the work. May the Lord heap upon you great rewards in Heaven for all the good you do in this unkind world we live in now. Sincerely, Christopher P…” (He is a 60-year-old prisoner.) Praise God – “Serve with good will, as to the Lord and not to men, because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free.” (Eph 6:7-8)! Pray Chris shares Christ.
