November 15 – 21

“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” Romans 8:37

Sunday, 15th: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN?  New student inmate Sonnie G… wrote: “That the road to Heaven is narrow and we have to be strong and put up with a lot sometimes, but remain calm in the storms. Yes. I don’t remember, but I’ve always been a believer. Thank you for reaching out to me. It means a lot to me. I ask you to keep me in your prayers.” (low test scores show great need for Bible study)

Praise God – “Order my steps in Your word; let no sin rule over me. Redeem me from the oppression of man, that I may keep Your precepts.” (Psa. 119:133-134)! Pray Sonnie studies diligently and memorizes key verses.

Monday, 16th: “10/28/20 Bible Studies By Mail, My time here in prison has finally come to an end. I did five complete calendar years. I get out on 10/30/20. I did the whole time with God watching over me. I’ve had my trials and tribulations, but I feel I have learned and come out stronger. Y’all have been sending me Bible studies the whole time almost. And thank you for that! I plan to find a church and attend. I really want to do right and live for Christ. Will you guys send my next study booklets to my home in El Paso, Texas? Hopefully I’ll hear from you soon. Thanks, and God bless. With love in Christ, Adam C…

Praise God – “The LORD will watch over your coming and going, both now and forevermore.” (Psalm 121:8)! Pray Adam finds a Bible-teaching church, a godly mentor, a job and supportive Christian friends.

Tuesday, 17th: First-time student Alice H… shared: “Yes, many years ago, in June 1960, I prayed for forgiveness. I’ve come up against many obstacles. Salvation is not earned. It is a gift from God. Thank you for sending these lessons. I will read them over and over, then I can share what I know and believe with others.”

Praise God – “For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the law.” (Romans 3:28)! Pray Alice grows in her personal love for God, her understanding of the gospel & her love for the lost.

Wednesday, 18th: First-time student inmate Jeremy J… (age 30) shared: “Yes, I’ve received the Lord Jesus numerous times, but the time when I was serious was in 2010. Thank you for these wonderful Bible lessons. They’ll help me grow in faith and better prepare me for society in one year.”

Praise God – “God, who has called you into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.” (1 Cor. 1:9)! Pray Jeremy totally trusts God’s word, proclaims His truth in prison now and in public next year.

Thursday, 19th: First-time student inmate Chesley E… (age 53) shared: “I used to be a Christian, but I fell off the wagon. The prayer in lesson two, I did read and made it my prayer on September 20, 2020. Keep me in your prayers that I can climb back up on the wagon and get back to my church and my true brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ. Thank you!”

Praise God – “I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them out of My hand.” (John 10:28)! Pray Chesley studies and restudies all 10 booklets (20 lessons) in MY NEW LIFE IN CHRIST.

Friday, 20th: “Thank you for these studies. I am a sinner currently incarcerated. I know that these lessons will help me become a child of God. Roger D… (a 6-week pause since his first worksheets arrived)

Praise God – “Bring out a people who have eyes but are blind, and who have ears but are deaf.” (Isaiah 43:8)! Pray Roger waits no longer, that he studies lessons 3 – 6 and trusts in Christ alone for his salvation.

Saturday, 21st: Roberta D… shared: “This study really touched my heart. I ask God to let me lean on Him because I need Him. I lost my brother about a year ago and my only sister passed away in April this year. Please pray for me. I don’t want to give up. I know God didn’t give up on me.”

Praise God – “And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died for them and was raised again.” (2 Cor 5:15)! Pray Roberta studies God’s word & renews her strength in Him.
