March 27 – April 2

“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” 1 John 4:8

Sunday, 27th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS LESSON? Inmate Mariano M… (age 71) shared: “That God is true love. That God is everything, without Him, we are nothing.” Praise God – “This is how God’s love was revealed among us: God sent His one and only Son into the world, so that we might live through Him.” (1 Jn 4:9)! Pray Mariano lives out the gospel message in prison.

Monday, 28th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS LESSON? Inmate Darrell L… (age 47) shared: “I’m really feeling the Lord in me. I’m so pumped up. I can’t even sit still. I’m high on the Lord. I’ve never felt this good. It’s the best feeling I ever had.” Praise God – “About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.” (Acts 16:25)! Pray Darrell finds other incarcerated believers for fellowship.

Tuesday, 29th: September 27, 2021, an inmate began to study. He indicated that he had received Jesus as his Savior when he was a child. Last week he returned his latest study worksheets and shared: “I just wanted to thank y’all! On Tuesday, March 15, the Holy Spirit filled my heart to overflowing! I wept and confessed Jesus as my true Lord and Savior! I gained true understanding about what God did by sending Jesus and what really happened on Calvary! It makes me so happy and it breaks my heart at the same time. But now I know and truly believe! Your Bible studies unlocked that door for me to confess Jesus and not be ashamed now! Thank you! Jesus truly saved me! Joshua H…” (His is 36 years old.) Praise God – “Then the eyes of those who see will no longer be closed, and the ears of those who hear will listen.” (Isaiah 32:3)! Pray Joshua boldly shares the gospel with inmates & guards and his family & friends.

Wednesday, 30th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS COURSE? Gail M… (age 48) shared: “That a life without Christ is not a life at all. All we ever need is a strong, abiding relationship with Christ to be the best person we can be.” Praise God – “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.” (Ephesians 2:13)! Pray Gail talks with friends and family about what God is teaching her.

Thursday, 31st: WHAT ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS BOOKLET? Autumn M… (age 34) shared: “That Jesus loves us more than we could ever imagine. That God is for me, He is with me and He will never leave me.” (First lessons mailed 6/27/16; she received Christ as her Savior 1/29/17.) Praise God – “And love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins.” (1 Jn 4:10)! Pray Autumn shares the gospel and prays with her 3 children.

Friday, 1st: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS LESSON? Amy F… (age 55) shared: “It is so incredible how each item in the Tabernacle points to Christ and the sacrifice He made for my sins. The best part is now the veil is torn and we have the honor to go to God directly. Every day (and several times a day) I have to say: “Thy will be done.” We actively have to die to self and follow God’s will. What utter joy we experience when we are in right fellowship and in the will of the Lord. As we abide in Christ, He is in control. My focus has to be on Christ. I have to wholeheartedly seek Him, be in His word and be in prayer.” Praise God – “I am the vine and you are the branches. The one who remains in Me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5)! Pray Amy starts a home Bible study.

Saturday, 2nd: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS LESSON? Inmate Thomas M… (age 51) wrote: “I choose God’s will instead of my own. I don’t have to have my own way. I accept God’s way. All my temper comes from inside myself and that only I can decide how it will be used or not. God can bring good out of a bad situation, if I trust Him.” Praise God – “The world is passing away, along with its desires; but whoever does the will of God remains forever.” (1 Jn 2:17)! Pray Thomas cuts all ungodly ties & seeks fellowship with God fearing inmates.
