Sunday, 13th: “Tuesday, 03-01-22 Dear brother Evans, thank you for your prayers and support for me and every other inmate. I also want to thank you for the self-addressed stamped envelope I use to return my question pages. God willing, I’ll be going home in 3 months. My fiancée and I are trying to get married, so I want to learn more about marriage under God. Can you please help me with this course in Spanish? It’s called Amor, Noviazgo y Matrimonio [Love, Dating and Marriage]. Please pray for me and my fiancé and my future mother-in-law. Pray God helps her accept me as her son-in-law. God bless you always brother, Homero V…” Praise God – “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves.” (Phil. 2:3)! Pray Homero, his fiancée and mother-in-law study the Bible together.

Monday, 14th: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN? New student inmate Heath R… (age 40) wrote: “Jesus Christ is Lord of all and my personal Savior…through Him I have salvation and eternal life…I’m forgiven and a child of God. Yes, November, 27, 2016” Praise God – “So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.” (1 Cor. 3:7)! Pray Heath shares God’s message of hope with inmates & encourages them to study too.

Tuesday, 15th: “Feb. 24, 2022 I just wanted to say thank you very much! Thank you for the Bible studies. They are truly helpful for my spiritual growth and very informative! Also, thank you for my certificate of completion for MY NEW LIFE IN CHRIST! When days are hard and trials are many, I can turn to your study booklets and see again that my rewards are great in Christ! Thank you and God bless y’all! Sincerely, Joshua H…” Praise God – “The LORD is my chosen portion and my cup; You have made my lot secure.” (Psalm 16:5)! Pray Joshua finds godly fellowship with another inmate; pray he continues sharing the gospel fearlessly.

Wednesday, 16th: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN? New student Michaela M… (age 28) wrote: “I love reading about believing in Christ. I have been blessed by believing as a young teen, in 2010. As my relationship with Jesus deepens, believing in Him is fantastic.” Praise God – “And many were gathered together, so as to have no more space, not even at the door. And He was speaking the word to them.” (Mark 2:2)! Pray Michaela seeks and finds a Bible-teaching church.

Thursday, 17th: A jail Chaplain’s email, March 2, 2022 at 1:12 PM: “Hello Darryl and Joan Evans, here are four new signups for English Bible studies: Jason S… #___; Joel C… #___; Mario B… #___; Anthony T… #___. Thank you, Chaplain Bill Stickles” (their lessons were ready for the mail at 1:39 PM) Praise God – “Remember the prisoners, as though in prison with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you yourselves also are in the body.” (Heb. 13:3)! Pray Jason, Joel, Mario & Anthony study & follow Jesus.

Friday, 18th: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN? New student Barry B… (age 71) wrote: “Jesus created us all and died for us on the cross. Yes, when I was born.” Praise God – “Surely I was brought forth in iniquity; I was sinful when my mother conceived me.” (Psalm 51:5)! Pray Barry keeps studying all the lessons we send; pray he sees the gospel truth about himself.

Saturday, 19th: “02/02/2022 To Whom It May Concern: My wife and I are interested in taking your Bible study lessons. A friend referred you to us. Thank you, Charles D…” (mailed on 02/08/22; no response yet) Praise God – “For this commandment is a lamp, this teaching is a light, and the reproofs of discipline are the way to life,” (Prov. 6:23)! Pray Mr. & Mrs. Charles D… study their booklets & return their tests.
