Sunday, 11th: Inmate Jarrod S… wrote B.S.B.M., in January 2021, requesting Bible studies. On July 6th, we received his first study worksheets. After being asked these three personal questions at the end of his lessons, WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN? Jarrod wrote: “Jesus is the only way to God. I am saved because of Jesus and not from my behavior. Yes. June 28, 2021. Please pray for me and my family. I’m 22 and facing 66 years in prison. I’ve noticed a lot of problems happening in my family.” Praise God – “God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Cor 5:21)! Pray Jarrod studies and shares the gospel.

Monday, 12th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On July 5 at 11:14 PM, new student hopeful Samantha C… e-mailed: “I hope to understand the Bible more. It’s so hard to understand and that can be discouraging.” (Studies sent 7/8/21) Praise God – “Open my eyes that I may see wondrous things from Your law.” (Psalm 119:18)! Pray Samantha studies the lessons, asking God to help her understand and apply His truth to her life.

Tuesday, 13th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On July 6 at 7:13 AM, new student hopeful Gail M… e-mailed: “How to be a better Christian and to get a better grip on my life.” (Studies sent 7/8/21) Praise God – “Let us hold resolutely to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.” (Hebrews 10:23)! Pray Gail, with Bible in hand, studies all the lessons and repents of her sinful ways.

Wednesday, 14th: Inmate Alan W… was enrolled by his wife Dana, on April 29, 2020, using BSBM’s website. Alan returned his first study worksheets and shared that he had trusted Christ, as his personal Savior, on May 2, 2020. Today, Alan is half way through his 6th correspondence course. He has signed up four other inmates also. He just shared this upon completing lesson 11, in Practical Christian Living: “To be fully obedient to God, we must obey delegated authorities.” Praise God – “All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:” (2 Cor 5:18)! Pray Alan keeps studying God’s word & sharing His truth.

Thursday, 15th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On July 6 at 8:14 AM, new student hopeful Jeffrey W… e-mailed: “To draw closer to God and share with my family about Christ.” (Studies sent 7/8/21 to him, wife Lynn and teen-daughter Lilly) Praise God – “Fathers, don’t stir up anger in your children, but bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.” (Eph 6:4)! Pray Jeffrey, Lynn and Lilly study and talk and pray about life.

Friday, 16th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On July 7 at 12:56 PM, new student hopeful Shelley L… e-mailed: “I hope to get closer to God through His word. I need God in my life. Jesus said we can’t do anything without Him.” (Studies sent 7/8/21) Praise God – “So I have seen You in the sanctuary and beheld Your power and glory.” (Psalm 63:2)! Pray Shelley studies her lessons with her Bible, seeks God’s guidance and obeys His voice.

Saturday, 17th: An inmate shared: “6-26-21 Dear Bible Studies By Mail! Hello, I just wanted to take a minute to say Thank You very much for allowing me to participate in your wonderful Bible study program. Thank you for reminding me how awesome it is to be a part of God’s family. I am currently doing a prison sentence and being a part of your Bible study program really helps me to keep my thoughts on Christ and to be obedient to Him. Love in Jesus, Chris C…” Praise God – “Instead, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the desires of the flesh.” (Romans 13:14)! Pray Chris signs up inmates interested in Bible study.
