December 2 – 8

“Deal bountifully with Your servant, that I may live and keep Your word.” Psalm 119:17

Sunday, 2nd: Norman P… requested Bible studies using BSBM’s website on October 26th at 12:53 PM. When asked what he wanted to learn from God studying the Bible, Norman wrote: “To gain more knowledge of scripture and get closer to God.” His first 2 completed Bible study sheets just arrived with this note: “Dear friend in Jesus, I am open to all scripture reasoning, but not assumption of eternity in Hell. There will be no eternity in Hell. The Lake of Fire is only until all that can be consumed is burnt, everyone and everything. Please respond with full scripture about an eternity in Hell. Thank you, very much kind friend, in Jesus.” (3 scripture laden documents were sent with his next lessons.)

Praise God – “And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”(Matthew 25:46)! Pray Norman gains knowledge of Scripture by studying his lessons with his Bible in hand.

Monday, 3rd: “Hello, My name is Anthony M…, and I received the Bible study from you. Thank you. I would like to know; do you have some studies for people that are more advanced? I would also like to know; can you send a friend of mine the Bible study you just sent me? He is a baby in Christ, just got saved about a month ago. His name is Jason H… #____ … New York” (both inmates)

Praise God – “Therefore encourage and build one another up, just as you are already doing.”(1 Thessalonians 5:11)! Pray Anthony & Jason study diligently with intent to grow strong in their faith & to share Christ.

Tuesday, 4th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS LESSON? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN?  New student Velma M… (age 55) wrote: “I am saved by having faith in the Lord Jesus. Yes. Back in 1989. Then I backslid a few times. Now I’m trying to get it together again.”

Praise God – “O my strength, I will sing praises to You; For God is my stronghold, the God who shows me lovingkindness.”(Psalm 59:17)! Pray Velma finds a local Bible-teaching church & makes godly friendships.

Wednesday, 5th: “My name is Ralph H… and I was wondering if I could please do the Bible studies by mail. Also, maybe you would have a mentor, or someone to write me. I don’t really have nobody to write. Looking forward to grow in Christ.” (a personal letter was sent along with his first Bible studies.)

Praise God – “Remember those in prison as if you were bound with them, and those who are mistreated as if you were suffering with them.”(Hebrews 13:3)! Pray Ralph does his studies, writes & finds a Christian inmate.

Thursday, 6th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS LESSON? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN?  New student Patrick B… (age 13) wrote: “That only through Jesus can I become a child of God. Yes. November 21, 2018.” (lessons sent 11/15/18)

Praise God – “For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.”(Galatians 3:26)! Pray Patrick keeps doing his studies, breaks ties with ungodly friendships & gets plugged into a good youth group.

Friday, 7th: “My name is Daniel V…  I have been in jail for 5 ½ years. I am fighting 2 life terms. I would like to enroll in your Bible course. I have seen your course and I would like to turn my life around with your help. Thank you kindly.”

Praise God – “Let us examine and test our ways, and turn back to the LORD.”(Lamentations 3:40)! Pray Daniel surrenders his life into God’s hands while studying, that he repents and believes in the gospel.

Saturday, 8th: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your ministry work and to let you know that I very much appreciate you sending me the Bible studies your program provides to inmates. Thank you and God bless, Edilberto B… (a 38-year-old’s note in with his first study worksheets)

Praise God – “And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”(Ephesians 5:20)! Pray Edilberto shares his studies with others & encourages them to signup too.
