April 26 – May 2

Sunday, 26th: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED? HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE LORD JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR? and WHEN?  In the past month, BSBM’s website has seen increased new student enrollment. In the past week, BSBM staff have seen increased first-time decisions for Christ. Here are some of them: Taylor E… (age 27), “only one Savior and He is my Savior”, 4/13/20; Camron E… (age 30), “my wife helped me to receive Christ as my Savior”, 4/13/20; inmate Grady B… (age 26), “the right way is always the hardest thing to do”, 3/23/20; Elizabeth M… (age 18), “that today I need to believe in God”, 4/19/20; inmate Joshua D…, “we’re saved by what God’s done for us thru His Son”, 4/12/20; Viola A… (age 61), “Jesus loves me with all of my flaws”, 4/15/20.

            Praise God – “When You said, “Seek My face,” my heart said to You, “Your face, O LORD, I shall seek.”” (Psalm 27:8)! Pray Taylor, Camron, Grady, Elizabeth, Joshua & Viola keep studying and find a church.

Monday, 27th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On April 21st at 9:00 PM, new student hopeful Enrique A… e-mailed: “To understand Scriptures better in order to minister. And to just experience His love through His promises and fellowship with Him.”

            Praise God – “In times of trouble, LORD, You will protect me. You will hide me in Your tent and keep me safe on top of a mighty rock.” (Psalm 27:5)! Pray Enrique studies intently; trusts & obeys without doubt or delay.

Tuesday, 28th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On April 22nd at 12:54 PM, new student hopeful Sooner M… e-mailed: “I went to church when I was younger and now, I would like to get back to Bible study.”

            Praise God – “Teach me Your way, O LORD, that I may walk in Your truth. Give me an undivided heart, that I may fear Your name.” (Psalm 86:11)! Pray Sooner pulls out her Bible and studies diligently; finds a church.

Wednesday, 29th: An inmate shared on April 16th: “Thank you for the Bible studies. As a relatively new Christian, they have been a boon to my understanding of Christ and the Bible. Please accept this small $ donation to be used whatever way it can be used best. Thank you, Branden S…

            Praise God – “May the LORD give you increase, both you and your children.” (Psalm 115:14)! Pray Branden keeps sharing his faith and God’s salvation among fellow inmates. Pray he signs up another inmate.

Thursday, 30th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On April 22nd at 4:49 PM, new student hopeful Kim P… e-mailed: “The godly way to live.”

            Praise God – “The night is nearly over; the day has drawn near. So let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.” (Romans 13:12)! Pray Kim studies her Bible, hears God speak & does as He says.

Friday, 1st: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On April 21st at 7:03 PM, new student hopeful Marcus R… e-mailed: “What it takes to change my life and to live the way God wants me to live my life.”

            Praise God – “As obedient children, do not conform to the passions of your former ignorance.” (1 Peter 1:14)! Pray Marcus studies intently; repents of his sin; surrenders himself to God; obeys the Lord fearlessly.

Saturday, 2nd: Inmate Jason R… wrote: “My last Bible studies were probably returned to you. If you want to send them to me here, I’ll be here for a few months. You know I consider you as family now and I’m grateful to have you in my life.”

            Praise God – “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to the family of faith.” (Galatians 6:10)! Pray Jason continues to study God’s word. Pray he keeps sharing Christ’s love.
