“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33
Sunday, 14th: “¡Muchas gracias for this course! With it I am learning and I’m getting to know what God desires. Thanks to Him I will not be enslaved to evil, for I want God to give me strength and wisdom to do His will… I need your help. I need you to pray for me. Ramón…”
Praise God – He gives peace to His own because Jesus has overcome the world (John 16:33)! Pray Ramón chooses to obey Christ’s teaching after he reads his Bible and completes his studies.
Monday, 15th: “My name is Robert… #… I’m an inmate at the _____ County Jail and I want to see if I may be enrolled into your Bible studies by mail.”
Praise God – He enables the lost to find help and equips His children to help! Pray Robert takes time to be alone with God when he does his first two lessons. Pray he is born again by Jesus.
Tuesday, 16th: “Hola Hermanos en Cristo: I have a request for you. Could you please send Bible studies to the following people? José… Jorge… Raúl… María… Sincerely your brother in Christ, Noel…” (Noel is a new believer as of August 7, 2009 and the first 3 mentioned above are inmates with him.)
Praise God – His word becomes sweeter than honey for those who believe in Him! Pray Noel studies his Bible & lessons each day. Pray José, Jorge, Raúl and María accept Christ as their Savior.
Wednesday, 17th: “Hermanos: ¡Muchas gracias for challenging and encouraging us! I have learned so much through these studies and now I feel much better. I know that I can’t be snatched from God’s hand by anything or anybody. By God’s grace I know this great truth and I am most happy. Your brother, Salvador…”
Praise God – His word, a treasure of teaching on how to have a personal relationship with Him! Pray Salvador shares the message of God’s salvation among fellow inmates and his family.
Thursday, 18th: “For the moment I am not a Christian. But I will be soon. The Lord has spared my life on several occasions. I am from Guatemala and I’ve had many failures caused by the evil one. Por favor, I ask you to pray for me and for my family. Hector…” (He is an inmate.)
Praise God – He is merciful and gracious beyond measure to each and every one! Pray Hector surrenders his life into God’s hands, repenting of his sin and believing in Jesus Christ.
Friday, 19th: On March 1st, we received this note from inmate Manuel…: “Sí, these studies have been a blessing for me, because through them I have received Jesus Christ as my Savior and…”
Praise God – His word clearly maps the route from earth to Heaven through Calvary! Pray Manuel starts each day seeking the Lord’s strength and wisdom, being a living epistle of God’s love.
Saturday, 20th: When asked to share his testimony, Richard… wrote: “I was saved many years ago. I had a real love for the Lord serving Him. But not long after, the church I attended split and there was a terrible turmoil. Ultimately, my family stopped going to church and for many years I was out of the Lord’s will and fellowship. Finally, the Lord brought me to the end of ‘my self’. I lost my family, my money and now my health is terrible. I don’t even have a car to go to the doctor. But I have the Lord back in my life! I thank Him every day for taking the things of the world from me, so now I have Him to lean on.” (He enrolled online for studies at www.BSBM.org on December 11, 2009.)
Praise God – His eye is on the horizon 24/7 watching and waiting for His wayward children! Pray Richard finds a good Bible-teaching church and participates in the church’s activities.
