            Praise God – His persecuted Sri Lankan Church is becoming prayerful, purified & powerful! Pray ‘Bill’ receives his first lessons with several other documents on Biblical Theology and Buddhism.

Monday, 7^th: From a local inmate: “Blessings from your friend James… Thank you for understanding my side and thank you for the new lessons. May God bless you guys all the time at Bible Studies By Mail.” (After starting an advanced level course, he found it too difficult and asked for a change.)

            Praise God – He is opening hearts behind closed doors; Jesus’ light is dispelling the darkness! Pray James puts to practice all he learns. Pray he doesn’t leave Jesus at the door when released.

Tuesday, 8^th: An inmate in Virginia wrote: “The reason I am writing you is to ask you if you could please send me Bible studies in Spanish. I hope you can help me… Miguel…“

            Praise God – He puts it in the heart of His Church to help BSBM reach the lost and wayward! Pray Miguel receives his first studies and repents of his sin and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ.

Wednesday, 9^th: Sent in by one of our Pakistani students, ‘Fred Smith’ [name changed]: “Yes, Jesus Christ lives in my heart, because this is His promise to his children. He loves us and lives in every Christians heart.” ‘Fred’ then asked we send lessons to Miss ‘Bonnie Green’ [name changed]. He also wrote: “Beloved in Christ, Kindly send five more courses to my address for friends.”

            Praise God – His Pakistani Church is studying like never before and their faith is growing fast! Pray ‘Fred’ & ‘Bonnie’ receive their studies. Pray Jesus’ teaching shows their friends the lies of Islam.

Thursday, 10^th: “I’m so sorry that it took me so long to return these lessons. I have been in and out of the hospital due to asthma. I’m feeling better and the lessons will be sent back faster the next time. I’m so happy to have the chance to do these studies. Thank you so much. Deonza…“

            Praise God – He led BSBM to set up a website! Pray Deonza does her studies at the pace she can, applying God’s truth personally, living it out. (She just enrolled at www.BSBM.org on March12, 2012)

Friday, 11^th: On April 24, 2010, Joanne… enrolled for studies at www.BSBM.org. She recently wrote: “I have addictions that I can’t seem to break. The more I study and learn of God, the more conscious I am of these addictions. I truly want to stop them and I want God’s forgiveness. I don’t want to keep doing them over and over again. I don’t want to come under God’s chastening, as it mentions in question 9 above.” (PCL lesson 12, question 9 bases its teaching from Hebrews chapter 12.)

            Praise God – His word is powerful, always accomplishing His purpose without failure! Pray Joanne seeks face-to-face help at a local Bible-teaching church. Pray she makes godly friendships.

            Praise God – HE touches hearts, HE opens eyes, HE urges His child to follow Jesus closely! Pray Kristy draws near to God, taking His word to heart. Pray she flees from the devil and his doings.

            Praise God – He changes lives from the inside out! Pray David uses his lockup time wisely, that he spends hours studying his Bible and lesson material, that he shares his tracts with others.

Monday, 30^th: “My real name is Basilio… I am the father of 4 daughters and I miss them so much. We came from Honduras and had just been here for about a year when my wife did something terrible with another person and we separated. But then bad luck came my way after keeping company with a Salvadorian lady my age. I was drunk and we had a bad misunderstanding. She didn’t obey what I said and… She called the police and they arrested me, accusing me of terrible things I didn’t even do. They sentenced me to 16 years. I cry out to the Lord for justice. Pray for me.”

            Praise God – He is personally present, offering to bear burdens for the broken and contrite! Pray Basilio totally entrusts his legal case into God’s hands, that he spends lots of time in the word.

Tuesday, 1^st: “I truly want to take all these courses, but I ask you to please help me out. I receive no money to purchase stamped envelopes to return lessons. Lucky to be given this one to mail you my first lessons. I ask if you could possibly send a pre-stamped envelope each time.             Praise God – He gives His child His heart’s desire then He enables them to move mountains! Pray Ronnie is transformed by the renewing of his mind, as he studies.

Wednesday, 2^nd: “Please pray for me. Less than a year ago, I was diagnosed with cancer. I underwent surgery and had a ileostomy bag put on and it’s not reversible. I had 6 months of chemo and 25 radiation treatments. I had a scan done a few weeks back and I am now cancer free. Please keep me in your prayers that I would do as God wants me to do. I really enjoyed this Bible study. Penny…” (She just started studying on April 16. In her 1st lessons, she said she accepted Christ on July 27, 2011)

            Praise God – He often delivers the second birth when the first death is knocking at the door! Pray Penny studies her Bible and lessons. Pray she becomes active in a local Bible-teaching church.

            Praise God – His love letter to mankind is a handbook on how to live forever starting today! Pray Irais’ first studies arrive without a snag. Pray she sees and accepts the Gospel truth.

Friday, 4^th: “I really enjoy your Bible study courses. I will be released from jail in 10 days and I wish to continue at home. I will not leave Jesus at the doorstep of this jail. My home address is… Tennessee. Do you have any courses for children? I have 2 kids. One is 6 and the other is 12.             Praise God – He rescues and remakes the lost and wayward when they cry out to Jesus! Pray Jackson finds a Bible-teaching church and many new friends. Pray he finds employment.

Saturday, 5^th: US inmate Humberto… just did his first study booklet with two lessons in Spanish.

            Praise God – He sets one’s life-stage, sends the lifeline and asks them to take hold by faith! Pray Humberto and his family in Juárez, México, truly come to know Christ as their Savior and Lord.

Sunday, 22^nd: “I got my new Bible studies. Thank you! I read your pamphlet and saw you have tracts and Christian literature in English. We don’t have a chaplain, nor a library! So I have a small library in my cell that I share with anyone that wants to learn about the Lord. Could you send me things I can share? Also, I can’t afford stamps, so could you send me a stamped envelope with my next lessons? I want to continue studying but postage is hard to come by. Thank you! Jason…“

            Praise God – Christ’s bride in jail is readying herself for Him through faith-in-Him works! Pray Jason begins each day searching God’s word for spiritual sustenance, crying out to God for strength.  

Monday, 23^rd: “Dear Mr. Evans, My sister Gloria P… is interested in Bible studies. I have been helping her overcome her addiction to drugs. Thanks and glory to God!             Praise God – He leads the lost and wayward to find spiritual help on internet at BSBM.org! Pray Israel gets high on daily Bible-fixes as he studies his Bible & lessons. Pray Gloria studies too.  

Tuesday, 24^th: January 31, 2012, Shaneé… signed up for studies at BSBM.org. She shared this on her April test sheet: “The Lord has brought me a mighty long way. There were times I know He had to be there protecting me! He has brought me through a terrible time in my life and I will forever be grateful. I always cry when I do these studies because I wasted a lot of time. Thanks to these lessons and people telling me, I know I am saved now. Jesus loves me and I have been forgiven.”

            Praise God – He continues to send Jesus to seek and save lost sinners when they want help! Pray Shaneé spiritually grows in leaps & bounds, faithfully applying God’s healing word to her heart.

Wednesday, 25^th: Twenty-nine year old Tracy… hadn’t returned her lesson tests for a year. Then this letter arrived April 13th: “Hi, my name is Edward… I was Tracy’s boyfriend. I am writing to tell you she passed away April 15, 2011. I found these Bible study courses she had finished. I just wanted to mail them out for her.”

            Praise God – Jesus has prepared a Heavenly mansion for His bride! Pray Edward finds Christ-like consolation over this loss, realizing it was Tracy’s gain. Pray he grows spiritually strong.

Thursday, 26^th: Frederick… shared what he learned in lesson 23 of Practical Christian Living: “We are here on a specific mission for God. And the more we learn that mission the more we become good overseers of the things He has allowed us to obtain. And to help others with these things or possessions because they are not ours to do as we please but His to do as He pleases.”

            Praise God – Jesus was eyeing His bride when He prayed: “Not my will, but thine, be done”! Pray Frederick holds God’s measuring stick up to his life and follows suit in obedience and in love.

Friday, 27^th: Inmate Jackson… wrote: “I really appreciate what you do. You are a blessing to so many including me.”

            Praise God – He blessed Abraham for believing and so it goes for all the rest of us believers! Pray Jackson takes this opportunity to study as God given, preparing well for days of spiritual battle.

Saturday, 28^th: “To Bible school, I have found a church. I am so happy my heart has been jumping for joy. I had suicidal thoughts, plus my husband was verbally abusive. He is much better and I hope he joins me at the church. I will write next Sunday and let you know how it went. Brenda…“

            Praise God – He enables His church to love one another as Christ loves, without prejudice! Pray Brenda and her husband surrender all to Jesus, trusting Him alone to save and restore them.

Sunday, 15^th: Inmate Beverly… finished the ninth lesson in her first course and then shared: “After lesson 9, there’s no doubt how much God loves us. This has been the greatest lesson I’ve done. It has moved me. My soul cries out, ‘Lord I thank You. Jesus I love You. I live for you. I die for You. Lord, You have been so good to us all. You are good, merciful and kind.’ God loves me. His Son paid the price for my sins. That is love!”

            Praise God – His love for the world is indescribable, immeasurable and NOT impersonal! Pray Beverly loves her fellow inmates and family in a Christ-like way, personally, not being aloof.

Monday, 16^th: On February 14, Linda… signed up for Bible studies using the website. She sent this pray request in with her latest lessons completed: “Please keep me in your prayers! I’m so heavy in my heart and I need to let go of a lot! Please pray for my in-laws, also. We all are very grief stricken since we put Frankie in the ground. I know he is happy now and has no more pain, but I really miss him so much.”

            Praise God – ‘My hope is built on nothing less. Than Jesus‘ blood and righteousness.‘ ! Pray Linda reads the Psalms daily & prays often. Pray she lets go and lets Christ heal her heart with hope.

Tuesday, 17^th: Last year, on July 26, 2011, April… signed up for studies at bsbm.org. She recently shared this testimony: “On August 28, 2011, I realized that I wasn’t sure about my salvation, so I called my boyfriend. He suggested that I talk with my pastor. I called him and we met with his wife at church. I told my pastor what was going on. He explained that being saved is something God wants you to know. I accepted Jesus as my Savior, on Aug 31, 2011, with them at the church altar.”

            Praise God – He wants His blood bought kids to know they are His starting today thru eternity! Pray April becomes confidently involved in her local church, as well as sharing Christ with the lost.

Wednesday, 18^th: Annette… enrolled Aug 11, 2011 using BSBM.org. In April, she shared: “These Bible studies have been both enlightening and beneficial in my spiritual walk. I find I want to do better. I want to know Christ more intimately. He is my God! Please continue to send me lessons.”

            Praise God – His word is a living sword; His word cleanses; His word produces new life! Pray Annette shares God’s word with her neighbors. Pray she glories / boasts in Jesus Christ alone.

Thursday, 19^th: “Hola, mi nombre es Luís… My address has changed because they’ve moved me to prison. See the envelope. I began studying in the DACDC jail and had just finished the first course and returned it to you for grading when I was moved. Please send me my next lessons.”

            Praise God – He will intimately meet a person wherever they are when they cry out to Jesus! Pray Luís gets his next course this week. Pray he finds other Christians in this prison to study with.

Friday, 20^th: “Hermanos, I have learned mucho. For example, the Lord Jesus said that we would have trouble in this world. But He also told us to trust Him, because He has won the victory for us. Thanks for the seed of God’s word that you have sown in my life. Victor…“ (He is an inmate)

            Praise God – some sowed, some watered but GOD GAVE THE GROWTH! Pray Victor studies diligently, as he wants to share the gospel with family upon release. He said none are saved.

Saturday, 21^st: Inmate Alberto… asked: “Could you help us with an interpretation of some of the symbolism in Revelation? the 24 elders, 4 living creatures, the woman and the scarlet beast…”

            Praise God – His prophetic book, the Bible, interprets itself along with historic happenings! Pray Alberto & his fellow inmates study together, realizing Jesus wants 100% of their commitment.

Sunday, 8^th: “This course has literally helped me live a better life in Christ. I have learned more about our God’s true love for His people and what we as a whole mean to Him. To give His only Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins, so that we may live with Him in Heaven is so beautiful!             Praise God – He desires a growing, more meaningful relationship with each of His children! Pray Brandon shines brightly for Jesus through his words and lifestyle.

            Praise God – He gives His children changed desires in their heart, His Heart’s desire! Pray Alex takes time daily to read and study God’s word. Pray he finds other believers in this new prison.

Tuesday, 10^th: “I am writing this letter to let you all know that I may not be here much longer. The circuit court overruled my sentence… I may not be here when you send me my next lessons. I want to continue my lessons once I am released. Send to: Adam… … Arkansas”

            Praise God – He hears the cry of lost sinners and rescues them, healing their broken hearts! Pray Adam finds a Bible-teaching church. Pray he cuts the ties of old friendships & builds new ones.

Wednesday, 11^th: Penned by an inmate seven days before being released: “Chaplains Beam and Stickles, I want to thank you for your prayers. I know what I have to do now and I know who I am and where I belong, with the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank Him every day for putting me here. I’m hoping and praying that I will be able to help teach children and the youth about the Lord. I am living proof that Jesus is real. I will not be needing anymore lessons at this time. I will keep in contact to continue the Bible lessons when I get back to Arizona. Your sister in Christ, Susanne…“ (New lessons have been mailed to her twice at her Arizona address and she hasn’t responded yet.)

            Praise God – He is omnipresent and faithful to His child! Pray Susanne has found a good church and is studying the Bible there. Pray she is being mentored by a godly woman.

Thursday, 12^th: ‘Have you received Christ as your Savior?’ Here is how inmate Yolanda… responded: “Yes, I came to accept Jesus Christ in a women’s prison. I was lost and alone. Now I dedicate every day to the Lord Jesus Christ and I’m never alone.”

            Praise God – the Holy Spirit takes up residence in the heart of every believer! Pray Yolanda only fears God, trusting Him alone to work out the circumstances of her imprisonment for His glory.

Friday, 13^th: Pastor Donald… is studying his first course, A COUNTRY CALLED HEAVEN. Last week, he sent a gift in with his test pages and wrote: “May this small gift help provide postage for someone else to receive this blessed course.” (Last week a parishioner of his phoned in for first lessons.)

            Praise God – He motivates His children to give so the whosoever may hear about Jesus! Pray Pastor Donald shares the gospel message clearly from his pulpit and with his friends and neighbors.

Saturday, 14^th: ‘Have you received Christ as your Savior?’ Here is how Anita… responded: “I am not saved, but seeking. I have a few stumbling blocks and I need to pray and read more of the word.”

            Praise God – Jesus cleared all stumbling blocks for salvation; it’s a gift thru faith in Him! Pray Anita sees how Jesus did the impossible for her when He died on the cross and rose from the grave.

Sunday, 1^st: Dated March 18th: “I write to tell my story about the bad thing to have sexual relations with someone you shouldn’t. I had a girl friend and because of her lie I am in this prison. I give thanks to God for opening my eyes. When I get out of here, I am not going to fall in this again. I now know sex before marriage is bad. Paulo…” (He is studying LOVE, DATING & MARRIAGE in Spanish.)

            Praise God – His word gives men and women clear moral guidelines! Pray Paulo follows the Lord’s leading in regards to all his personal relationships, that moral purity is evidenced by onlookers.

Monday, 2^nd: Just in from Pedro…: “I was recently incarcerated. I had lived a horrible life full of sin, was facing 5 felonies, had no money and nowhere to turn. So, I turned to God and asked Jesus Christ to come into my heart. He has turned 7 ½ years into 1 year for me and He changed who I am as a person and how I am.” (Pedro accepted Christ Dec 13, 2011. He requested lessons for 13 yr old Orion.)

            Praise God – Because of Jesus, He does the impossible for every repentant believer! Pray Pedro studies God’s word diligently and shares Christ with family and friends. Pray many are saved.

Tuesday, 3^rd: A month ago today, Ruby… signed up for lessons at BSBM.org. On her last question page she wrote: “I love this lesson, it refreshed my mind. It makes me want to read the Bible more.” (She’s been a believer for 20 years.)

            Praise God – He wrote the gospel as a love letter to mankind using Jesus’ blood for its ink! Pray Ruby encourages her friends to study God’s word. Pray she shares God’s love with the lost.

Wednesday, 4^th: On November 20, 2011, Donald… enrolled at BSBM.org. He just shared: “It isn’t easy serving my Lord… I pray for strength and guidance from the Holy Spirit. I pray I can lead a soul to Christ. Please pray for our family. We have two grandsons and we help our son’s family financially. They need Jesus. Brent, Angie, Hunter (6), Kaleb (3). What a harvest we are seeing the word take in.”

            Praise God – Jesus shows His followers how to be fishers of men using the Bible as a net! Pray Donald lives out the message of God’s love to his son’s family. Pray all his house is saved.

Thursday, 5^th: An inmate just finished one course and started another. She wrote this on a note: “Let’s see how I did. I read the studies and then answered all the questions. Thank you so much for these studies. I have learned so much. Heather…“ (Her scores for all of GOD’S GREAT SALVATION averaged in the 90′s, while she scored only 30% and 55% in lessons one and two of WINNING THE RACE OF LIFE.)

            Praise God – He sees the heart, sends His Holy Spirit and pours on His grace and mercy! Pray Heather does her Bible lessons from the heart. Pray she is cleansed in heart, mind and walk.

Friday, 6^th: Inmate James… began studying November 18, 2011. He has completed 3 courses and is half way through the 4th. In courses I to III, he averaged 75% overall. But in lessons 1 through 11 of course IV he is averaging 33% overall.

            Praise God – Because of Jesus, He attends each of His child’s needs wholeheartedly! Pray James cries out to Jesus for rescue from his sin entrapment. Pray he finds another Christian inmate.

Saturday, 7^th: Inmate Alberto… asked: “What day is truly the Sabbath? And, why did the disciples make Sunday the Sabbath day? Also, what does the Bible say about the Lord’s supper?”

            Praise God – He puts His children where they need to be to learn life’s lessons well! Pray Alberto uses his lockup time to study God’s word and to be well prepared to face the outside world.

Sunday, 25^th: On March 14th, an anonymous person enrolled inmate Taiwan… for Bible studies at www.BSBM.org. He recently sent this note with his question pages: “I’m praying that the Lord will reveal my purpose because I’ve had a rough life for 33 years. I know I’m not perfect but I keep slipping into traps. I find them hard to get over because the traps take everything I have. So, will you say a special prayer for me?”

            Praise God – He purifies hearts and gives them His desires when delighting-in-Him happens! Pray Taiwan asks the Lord to cleanse every compartment of his life. Pray he memorizes Scripture.

Monday, 26^th: “To My Dear Friends, As soon as I wrote you about me not having a job that same week I got a job back in the school system again! GOD IS GOOD! Thank you so much for praying for me. I pray for the souls that don’t know HIM. Bernice…“ (She enrolled at www.BSBM.org in Nov 2011)

            Praise God – He asks His children to pray to Him and then to wait for His answer! Pray Bernice bears witness of the Light of the world with lost souls in her neighborhood and workplace.

Tuesday, 27^th: “Dear Bible studies, Please pray for my mom. She goes to the doctor on March 27 at 1:30. Pray everything goes ok. She needs prayer. Thank you, Timothy…” (Timothy lives at home with his mom Ada. Ada enrolled first at www.BSBM.org in Dec 2010 and then enrolled her son also.)

            Praise God – His healing touch reaches beyond this life and into eternity because of Jesus! Pray Timothy & Ada draw near to God through this health issue. Pray Ada is not anxious, but joyful.

            Praise God – family is His idea and He designed the roles each should play! Pray Fredy is enlightened through his Bible studies & surrenders his family into God’s hands for complete healing.

Thursday, 29^th: “I write to let you know why it’s taken me so long. It’s because I don’t have any stamps. I had work in the other prison and it gave me a little money for stamps and personal stuff.             Praise God – he transforms hearts of stone into hearts like His because of Jesus! Pray Gersson becomes a man after God’s own heart in prison. Pray his wife and two daughters are saved.

Wednesday, 21^st: Lesli… found www.BSBM.org last November and signed up for studies. On March 5th she wrote: “Thank you for your wonderful Bible studies. Right now I do not attend a church, but I do have a Bible study at home. I so do appreciate the studies and I’m looking forward to more.”

            Praise God – He instructs His Church to meet together to encourage and exhort one another!

Pray Lesli finds such fellowship in her home study group. Pray her neighbors come to faith in Christ.

Thursday, 22^nd: Penned March 12, 2012: “Gentlemen: I would like to subscribe in a Bible study course. I would like to receive in English, if possible. However, I am very perfect with the Spanish language. I am a Vietnam combat marine veteran. I will send you money every month, if it’s really a good course. Yours in Christ, Robert…”

            Praise God – monthly He enables us to mail 4,500+ lessons free-of-charge to 1,000+ people! Pray Robert studies to be spiritually strong and used by God to reach fellow veterans with the gospel.

Friday, 23^rd: Steven…, as a one year old in the faith, found www.BSBM.org on November 1, 2011 and signed up for studies. He recently shared: “I am studying to be a pastor at my church. I was messed up in a bad way with my wife and family. I was separated, living alone. I wanted to die. Then my sister gave me a Bible and said read it. Now, I am back with my family and we are all saved.”

            Praise God – He loves the lost sinner and His book of love, the Bible, tells it clearly! Pray Steven and his family grow in God’s grace and share His message of love with other lost sinners.

Saturday, 24^th: “Hi, my name is Ricki… cell… at _____ County Jail. Just a small letter stating how much I enjoy your Bible studies by mail. I am learning so much. My piggyback by mail partner is leaving next week. I won’t have postage to send my next lessons back. You were sending him postage. He is going to continue studies from home. Will you send me postage now, so I can continue from here?” (He started his letter like this: “8:00 AM 3-8-12 Thursday”)

            Praise God – His ‘army of volunteers’ at BSBM pray, work and give to sow God’s word! Pray our seventeen new believers in February read and study God’s word each day, personally applying it.

Sunday, 11^th: After completing the PRACTICAL CHRISTIAN LIVING course, Elizabeth… shared: “I learned my money and possessions go together, because they all belong to God. I learned how God measures our giving. I learned nothing can touch me except what God wills or permits.”

            Praise God – He sits on the throne and is in control of everything! Pray Elizabeth invites people she knows to study the Bible with her.

Monday, 12^th: Becky… enrolled her children Mason, Austin, Dakota and Grace in the summer of 2011. The 9 year old twins, Austin and Dakota, are doing the same course. When asked, ‘Have you taken the Lord Jesus as your Savior?’, they answered “NO”. Underneath that each one wrote: “Please pray for me.” Mason, at the age of 5, accepted Christ on Nov 26, 2011, while studying SEE & DO I.

            Praise God – His Family will be together forever because of Jesus! Pray Austin and Dakota each accept Christ as their personal Savior, when He knocks on their heart-door.

Tuesday, 13^th: Penned by Mario… on February 28^th: “Hermano Evans, I am going to finish my sentence on March 23. I am from the city of Juárez, México. My mother sent a little money, so I could buy my ticket, but I don’t know how much I’ll need. I am going to write you, when I get to Juárez, because I desire to continue studying God’s word.” (He accepted Christ while doing 1st lessons in April 2011)

            Praise God – He has blessed plans for each of His children! Pray Mario keeps God’s word close to his heart, so he doesn’t stray. Pray he finds a Bible-teaching church & new friends in Juárez.

Wednesday, 14^th: Inmate Luís… asked for prayer: “I would like it if you could pray for my family. The Lord has given me five children, 4 girls and 1 boy and a great wife. I ask that God gives me wisdom and strength to continue on His road, that He takes me back to my family and that He enables me to lead my family by His word.”

            Praise God – “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” (James 5:16b)! Pray Luís studies diligently, completing all the courses he can while serving his time.

Thursday, 15^th: “Praise God! Please know I am now saved (sanctified – redeemed – justified) by the precious blood of Jesus! Please allow me to participate in your Bible studies. I heard a minister preach that we are saved by the grace of God through faith. I need mountain moving faith. I am incarcerated because I allowed alcohol to be my god. Now, by the fruit of the Spirit, I can live a victorious life in Christ Jesus. God bless you all, Jimmy…“

            Praise God – He sent Jesus to die for sinners so they could enter Heaven thru faith in Him! Pray Jimmy spends significant time each day reading his Bible and praying. Pray he grows strong.

Friday, 16^th: New student Missy… just completed her first two lessons of A COUNTRY CALLED HEAVEN. When asked to share the most important thing learned, she wrote: “To be saved, all I have to do is believe. It’s not that simple, is it? Believing doesn’t keep my salvation, does it?”

            Praise God – “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves;” (Eph 2:8a)! Pray Missy reads and studies the extra literature we sent her, using her Bible to verify the teaching.

Saturday, 17^th: “Hello There! Please send Christian literature to me, anything advanced would be most excellent. I would like, if possible, to start your correspondence lessons.             Praise God – He puts His children where He wants them to be and then says bloom for Me! Pray Robert takes all of God’s teaching to heart prior to sharing it with his fellow inmates.

Sunday, 4^th: “I really enjoyed this lesson. I cannot wait to get to Heaven to see my family and our personal Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Keep me and my husband in your prayers, that I will find another job soon. Lisa…“

            Praise God – Jesus tells His disciples to keep the course and see God’s provision (Matt. 6:33)! Pray Lisa and her husband seek God’s kingdom first and thank Him for His provision, in advance.

Monday, 5^th:  Inmate Dawn… said she accepted Christ, in July 2011. She began studying on August 1^st. She recently asked for prayer: “I need prayer for my daughter! She is 15 and is needing some peace in her life. I miss her desperately. Can you please pray for her?”

            Praise God – He sent His Son to be the Prince of Peace for His children (Isaiah 9:6)! Pray Dawn studies her Bible & lessons diligently. Pray her teenage daughter cries out to God for salvation.

Tuesday, 6^th: On February 15, inmate Carlos… asked for lessons in a letter. He said he had accepted Christ on January 20, 2012. He still hasn’t returned his first booklet’s question pages.

            Praise God – He said: I will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5b)! Pray Carlos reads his Bible and follows Christ’s teaching daily. Pray he does his first lessons, if God should desire.

Wednesday, 7^th: “2-24-12, 4:30 AM, Dear Bible school, It’s been a long time since I’ve taken your studies, however it’s time now to begin receiving them again. I do miss them a lot. I have rheumatoid arthritis with pain in my knees, thighs, shoulders, neck and right arm and wrist. I want healing from Jesus. I was retired forcefully. Please send my next Bible studies. Mrs. Brenda…“

            Praise God – With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible (Matt. 19:26b)! Pray Brenda is miraculously healed by Jesus, keeps God first in her life and shares God’s love with others.

Thursday, 8^th: “Hola, mi nombre es Oscar… I am doing my sentence here in this jail. I’m a cellmate with Fredi… who receives your Bible studies. He invited me to read some of the lessons he had received and I liked them a lot. I would like to ask you a favor. Could you give me the privilege of receiving your lessons in my name?”

            Praise God – He has recorded each of His children’s names in His Book of Life (Rev 20:15)! Pray Oscar receives his first mailing without delays. Pray Oscar and Fredi follow Christ’s teaching.

Friday, 9^th: Inmate Sabrina… recently wrote: “I am writing to let you know that I saw your Bible studies that someone left laying out on a table. The question page was gone from the book. I would like to start doing that course called A Country Called Heaven. I need things of God to do to keep my mind positive and to keep my spirit lifted up. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. May you keep your caring heart to reach out to people like me behind bars, who need and want a closer walk with Christ. I pray you can provide a stamped envelope with the lessons.”

            Praise God – We love Himbecause He first loved us (1 John 4:19)! Pray Sabrina receives her first mailing without delays also. Pray she encourages her family & other inmates to study God’s word too.

Saturday, 10^th: Agustín… wrote last week: “Greetings… I am very happy because I finished the course and because I am going to receive a diploma. Muchas gracias and God bless you.” (He phoned on January 4th, to enroll himself. Later he requested studies for his parents too.)

            Praise God – The Bible… more to be desired than gold, yea, than much fine gold (Psa 119:10b)! Pray Agustín & his parents study & grow spiritually strong. Pray they attend a Bible-teaching church.

Sunday, 26^th: “I was reading my cellmate’s booklet titled A COUNTRY CALLED HEAVEN and in it I saw your address and that’s why I’m writing you. I don’t know if this would be the moment for me to repent of all the evil things I’ve done, but I’m truly sorry and I want to learn to ask God to forgive me of all my sins. I ask you to send Spanish study booklets to read because we only have English ones. Luís C…“

            Praise God – the hour is right, Jesus is pulling His lost sheep from their sin-thorn bushes! Pray Luís studies his Bible & lessons. Pray he confesses all to God & accepts Jesus as his Savior.

            Praise God – He sent the Prince of Peace to bear God’s just wrath for mankind’s sin! Pray Gilberto spends much of each day studying his Bible, completing new lessons & rereading old ones.

            Praise God – the Bible is a warehouse filled with spiritual food for eternal life sustenance! Pray Billy finds a Bible teaching church, new godly friends & work. Pray he does not turn back.

Wednesday, 29^th: An inmate studying Spanish courses wrote: “Brothers in Christ, I write you to ask that you have my family in your prayers. The enemy has strongly attacked all of them. They are fighting amongst themselves and still remain deceived. I pray that they convert to the Lord Jesus Christ. Yesterday, my grandmother became very ill and was hospitalized in México. I know that all of this is the work of Satanás. Because of that, I declare victory in the name of Cristo Jesús. His name is above all names. Yours in Christ, Ricardo M…“

            Praise God – Jesus opened Heaven’s sanctuary; God hears and attends everyone’s heart cry! Pray Ricardo keeps sharing God’s love with his family. Pray each one accepts Jesus as their Savior.

Thursday, 1^st: On February 21^st, Kari H… signed up for Bible studies on our website. In the comments box she wrote: “Please send me all the Bible studies and any other information. I am in the hospital and need some help in my life.”

            Praise God – the Bible is overflowing with helpful truths written by the Creator of life! Pray Kari sows God’s truth in her heart. Pray she is healed beyond a doctor’s ability. Pray she radiates Jesus.

Friday, 2^nd: Inmate Timothy S… is doing our studies. He asks for prayer: “My wife Kelly is struggling with her addiction to Xanax. Can you please pray for her. Anything you could send her to help her and encourage her would be deeply appreciated.” (At Timothy’s request, we sent Kelly her 1^st Bible lessons in January. Yet to be completed by her. On Feb 22^nd, we sent her some Christian material with a personal letter.)

            Praise God – He saves lost sinners, compelling them to share His love with other lost sinners! Pray Kelly reads God’s truth. Pray she asks the Good Shepherd to rescue her from sin’s entrapment.

Saturday, 3^rd: “Let me introduce myself. I am Erasmo A… I am 38 years old and I’m from Jalisco México. I am married and have 5 children. I found your address here in jail. I would like to know more of the Bible.”

            Praise God – God loves the world, sending Jesus to be the way, the truth and the life! Pray Erasmo repents of his sin & believes in the gospel. Pray he shares his lessons and tracts with family.

Sunday, 19^th: Stephanie… just returned TEEN TALK book 2. She shared the most helpful thing learned: “I need to learn to love what God has made of me. I thought God goofed.”

            Praise God – His word provides corrective thinking for its reader! Pray Stephanie does her lessons more frequently now, as she has taken 2 years to complete 2 study booklets.

Monday, 20^th: On Tuesday February 14th, www.bsbm.org received this request from Shenna… in Texas: “I live at a Domestic Violence Shelter. There are 20 women here and I think we would enjoy Bible studies, if you can send them.” The weekend prior to the 14th (Feb 10-12) saw over 50 new student sign ups on our web site.

            Praise God – He is more than ready to help the hurt and homeless! Pray Shenna and her friends study their first Bible lessons, make decisions for Christ and return their Question Pages to us.

Tuesday, 21^st: Inmate Victor… is a new believer, as of January 15, 2012, and now he is studying Spanish lessons. A number of his fellow inmates are also doing our correspondence Bible courses. Inmates are leading inmates to Christ and they are also asking us to send Bible studies to their family members in the US and beyond.

            Praise God – His love transforms His children’s lives causing them to love the lost to Christ! Pray Victor comes clean from his past, surrendering all to Christ every time God’s word convicts him.

Wednesday, 22^nd: Suzy… enrolled for lessons at www.bsbm.org on Feb 13th. In the comments box she wrote: “call me please.” Speaking with her on the 14th, she shared that her husband Christopher was laid off. She asked for prayer.

            Praise God – He guides 100′s each month to find the website for Bible lessons and prayer! Pray Suzy and Christopher open their Bibles and complete their first lessons. Pray he finds work.

Thursday, 23^rd: Inmate David… recently wrote: “I want you to know that this PCL course has been one of the most helpful to me because the subject titles and contents apply to my current state of being…things that I struggle with. Things such as anger, unforgiveness, and resentment have prevented me from building right relationships and considering myself worthy of such. I have learned the most so far from this course. Thank you for this growth. I pray that God will keep using you to touch people’s lives, especially those souls who are hurting like I was.”

            Praise God – He blesses BSBM with soul changing Bible courses! Pray David shares Christ with his family and fellow inmates.

Friday, 24^th: “Darryl Evans, I received my new Bible study lessons today…I am doing my best to recruit as many inmates as possible. Thank you for the extra tracts. I passed them out. Thank you Jesus for ministries like BIBLE STUDIES BY MAIL, for their time and effort to share Your word with inmates like me! Praise the Lord! Jason…“

            Praise God – He enabled BSBM to send nearly 60,000 studies to over 1,300 students in 2011! Pray Jason studies his Bible & lessons with diligence, desiring to lead a Christ-filled life upon release.

Saturday, 25^th: Inmate Luís… wrote: “I ask you to pray that God does a work in my life, my wife Rosi’s life and the lives of our daughters, that God reunites me with them, that God gives me strength to continue on His road, now that I am studying the Bible. Gracias for your prayers“

            Praise God – He truly did the impossible for mankind when he sent His Son to die for sinners! Pray Luís grows strong in his faith, understanding and accepting the gospel like never before.

            Praise God – He is causing many to seek His help in His Book of Love to mankind! Pray all earnestly follow Christ’s teaching. Pray BSBM serves them joyfully, as Christ’s bond servants.

Monday, 13^th: In early February, Annette… shared the most important thing learned in her lesson: “That I need to pray more and make time for my Savior and for prayer. If you could, I would like you to help me pray that my husband stops drinking and starts loving me like he should. I don’t want to give up on him. Please help me pray. Thank you”

            Praise God – He encourages His child to draw near and share their heart’s desire with Him! Pray Annette makes time for Bible study and prayer. Pray her husband surrenders his life to God.

            Praise God – He gives full attention to His Child and hears their heartaches! Pray Shirley casts all her cares upon the Lord and, in so doing, enjoys His faithfulness as her Heavenly Father.

Wednesday, 15^th: Bernice… wrote: “I am learning so much more in my lessons than I’ve ever learned going to church. I am overwhelmed to know that Christ Jesus is in me! I always thought I had to live right if I wanted to go to Heaven. I lost my joy when I lost my job and my home because I thought God was punishing me. But study book seven has given it back to me. Thank you! I love you Lord Jesus! I know He’s going to bless me with a job. Yes, He is. Amen. Hallelujah!”

            Praise God – Jesus lived out God’s word loud & clear and the Bible spells it out plain & simple! Pray Bernice shares the Gospel truth with her family and friends. Pray she finds work soon.

Friday, 17^th: Inmate Raymundo… recently asked for help: “There are people here in jail who fell into the trap of Satan and the world. They say I am preaching my own thoughts. In the name of my Lord, I ask you for a message on 1 John 5:16-17, Acts 5:1-11, Hebrews 6:4-6, Mark 3:29. I am waiting for your message, because I want to be prepared. I am concerned about knowing the truth.”

            Praise God – the Living Word, Jesus, and the written word, the Bible, best defend themselves! Pray Raymundo receives his latest mailing and seeks to prepare himself by studying the Bible.

Saturday, 18^th: “I would like to get Bible studies to prepare to preach the gospel. Hugo…“

            Praise God – He calls His prodigals to return to Him from wherever they have strayed! Pray Hugo focuses on using his lockup time to study God’s word and to prepare to share the gospel.

Sunday, 5^th: East coast student, Thelma…, returned her completed question pages with this note: “My girl friend would love for you to send studies. Donella C…”

            Praise God – He builds Family ties beyond one’s relatives! Pray Thelma and Donella study together and then share the gospel of peace in the hills of Virginia.

Monday, 6^th: On February 2, deep south enrollee, Athenian…, signed up for studies on BSBM’s website. Then early the next morning, she emailed BSBM, making two corrections to the address she had given. Thankfully those two errors had already been caught using USPS’ website. Her first packet of Bible studies were already in the mail.

            Praise God – He strengthens and enables His Church to share the gospel of peace! Pray Athenian understands the gospel message like never before and begins to share Christ without fear.

Tuesday, 7^th: Inmate Joel… returned his filled out test pages with this question: “Pregunta: ¿Could you send Bible studies to a friend of mine? He lives in Belén, New Mexico. His name is César… and his address is…”

            Praise God – His message to mankind through the gospel of peace spreads like fire! Pray Joel studies hard and grows spiritually strong. Pray César repents of his sin and believes in Jesus.

Wednesday, 8^th: “Hello instructor, I am still indigent and would appreciate if you can continue to supply me with a stamped envelope, so I can go on with the Bible studies. I enjoy working with them. Sincerely, Emilio…“

            Praise God – He begins something new in the lives of His own, carrying it on to completion! Pray Emilio applies God’s word to his life & that he encourages other people to study the Bible also.

Thursday, 9^th: “Hola, my name is Victor… I am sending you this letter to see if you can send me Bible studies. I am interested in learning a little more of God’s word. I would thank you from the bottom of my heart if you could send me studies.”

            Praise God – He enables the spiritually hungry to find Bible-based correspondence studies! Pray Victor and BSBM’s other 1,300+ students would thank God for all their riches in Christ Jesus.

Friday, 10^th: “Mi nombre es Gerardo… You are sending me studies at …Jail. I would like it if you could send these Bible courses to my cellmates Julio… and Roderik…, so that they may have the same joy of knowing Jesus Christ.”

            Praise God – He made it possible for mankind to know the true meaning of joy! Pray Julio & Roderik receive their 1st lessons & accept Jesus as their Savior. Pray Gerardo counsels them wisely.

Saturday, 11^th: On February 1, Konambadzi… [name changed], a university student in Lilongwe, Malawi enrolled online. Here is the message he left in the comment box: “I will be very glad to start a new life.”

            Praise God – He gives all who repent and believe the gospel a new life opportunity in Christ! Pray Konambadzi receives his first 4 studies. Pray he understands God’s message & accepts Christ.

Sunday, 29^th: “Dear brothers and sisters in Christ… I ask that you always have me in your prayers and I also ask that you pray for my children and my wife who are in my country El Salvador. Thank you for all the Bible lessons you’ve sent me to study. Sincerely, José…“

            Praise God – He has opened Heaven’s courts to attend prayers 24-7! Pray José asks God to continue to change his heart to be like Christ’s. Pray he returns to his family a new José in Christ.

Monday, 30^th: HALLELUJAH!!! Today, workers begin to change our office’s heating and cooling system, so the office will be closed until February 6. All last week, they worked on a new roof. Praise the Lord! This truly comes as an answer to prayer. Pray their inside work is all completed in a week’s time. Pray we can keep up with the workload of our 1,375 students by grading their Bible correspondence courses in our homes.

Tuesday, 31^st: Inmate Robert… wrote: “I thank God for receiving the courses from you. When I first started, I was going through a great deal of stress. Taking these courses has strengthened me very much. They also helped to increase my learning.” (Someone enrolled him at bsbm.org in March 2011)

            Praise God – He causes His children to be concerned for prisoners! Pray Robert shares the gospel with other inmates and invites them to sign up for lessons.

Wednesday, 1^st: Inmate Scott… recently wrote: “I have only God and His people to supply my needs. I appeal to you for your prayers, as well as a large print Bible, so I can spend more time in God’s word. Thank you for the postage help”

            Praise God – He meets our every need at just the perfect time! Pray Scott can spend more time in God’s word, whether by using a large print Bible or by using eye glasses with his current Bible.

Thursday, 2^nd: A phone-in, on January 25, asked for prayer and for Bible lessons to be sent to herself and to her six year old son, living in foster care. Their names are being withheld.

            Praise God – He led the mom to call our phone! Pray the mom does her studies, seeking the Lord. Pray her son’s foster parents help the boy study. Pray mom & son are reunited in God’s timing.

Friday, 3^rd: Melania… just started her second Spanish course. On her lesson’s question page, she indicated having received Jesus Christ as her Savior the very day she filled it out-December 22, 2011. PTL! How did she get signed up with our studies? Melania was referred to us by an inmate student who accepted Christ as his Savior while doing the first course.

            Praise God – His love is contagious and His Church is growing remarkably! Pray Melania shares the gospel truth among her Hispanic family and friends in North Carolina.

Saturday, 4^th: Juana… resides at a Christian home for deaf in Mexico. She began studying in October 2011. In January she wrote: “My life is new now that I have accepted Christ. In truth, I have seen changes in many areas of my life and I want to keep learning more.” (She is 33 years old)

            Praise God – His voice is heard loud and clear by the deaf! Pray Juana reflects the light of Jesus unashamedly among other residents and in the Mexican community.

Sunday, 22^nd: Inmate Raymundo… signs off his two page letter with this: “I have made errors writing this, but I hope you understand what the Lord Jesus Christ put in my heart. Tomás… #___ wants lessons too. He doesn’t know how to read, but I am going to teach him.”

            Praise God – In 2009, Raymundo accepted Christ and learned to read & write doing lessons! Pray Tomás accepts Christ as his Savior. Pray Raymundo & Tomás remain together for some time.

Monday, 23^rd: Patsy… signed up for studies on January 6. She sent this note along with her first question pages: “I don’t read the Bible too much because I don’t understand it well, but I loved this Bible study. Can you please send Bible studies, in English and Spanish, to my brother? He is in jail and there is a Mexican with him. My brother’s name and address are Paul… #____ I don’t know the Mexican’s name, so please mail his lessons to my brother.”

            Praise God – He encourages His child Patsy to send studies to her brother and his friend! Pray Paul and his Mexican friend receive their first lessons and in quiet study surrender all to Jesus.

Tuesday, 24^th: Peggy… sent a letter with her question pages: “I love to read Psalm 91:1-16. God is my hiding place, my divine shadow and refuge, my deliverer, my protector… No matter what happens, whether I’m having a low moment or a high moment, my focus is to stay on God. God is worthy of all my praise, all day, every day, no matter what kind of day it is. He began to turn things around for me, as I placed my faith and trust in Him. In these lessons I have learned I need God in my life at all times. Meditating on His word helps to keep me focused. Please keep sending me lessons.”

            Praise God – He has made Peggy to be a reflection of the Light of the world – Jesus Christ! Pray Peggy finds godly fellowship in a local church, as she shines for Jesus during dark times.

Wednesday, 25^th: Jason… just finished his first course with 18 lessons. He wrote: “Bible Studies By Mail Staff, I want to thank all of you for helping me to become a stronger and better Christian! If you have any more Bible studies, please send them.”

            Praise God – He led Jason to find bsbm.org and enroll for studies last fall! Pray Jason shares God’s message of salvation with family, friends and fellow workers, encouraging them to study also.

Thursday, 26^th: Inmate Oscar… wrote: “Please make note of my new housing address ___ I am still in the same prison. The section I am in is called The Christian Pod. We have Bible study every afternoon and chapel 3 times per week! Great huh”

            Praise God – He has Oscar right where He wants him for now and Oscar is content in jail! Pray Oscar daily applies God’s truth to his life, leaving the old behind & moving on ahead with Christ.

Friday, 27^th: Martha… enrolled at bsbm.org in October 2011 and that’s when we sent her first studies. On January 19, her first question pages arrived back and were graded. In a letter she asked for prayer: “Pray for my Dad. He is sick. His name is Cesar… I got a story I need to tell, but I cannot. Thank you for sending me Bible studies. I love them. Can you send 3 books at a time?”

            Praise God – For leading Martha to find BSBM online! Pray Martha takes time to study God’s word. Pray she finds a godly person to share her heart with. Pray Cesar trusts in Christ & is healed.

Saturday, 28^th: “I am writing this letter to thank you for the Bible study course. I have no idea how my name came in contact with your ministry. The lessons came at a time when I was feeling a very strong need to step closer to our Lord. Thank you for being such a blessing. Rodney…“

            Praise God – For leading a brother in Christ to signup Rodney at just the right time! Pray Rodney will thoroughly repent and come clean of all the issues Christ points out to him as he studies.
