Sunday, 11th: “My name is William… I am currently doing time in W… Prison. I have a 3 year term. I would like to enroll in your Bible studies. I got your name from Free Tract Society. I hope to hear from you soon.”
Praise God – He calls His children to gather together and serve Him according to His gifting! Pray William takes God’s word to heart when reading tracts and studying his Bible courses.
Monday, 12th: “I hope this letter finds you well brethren. The reason I am writing is to find out why you haven’t sent my next Bible studies. Please forgive the bother of my asking, but I miss them terribly. Each day I wait to see if the mail person has something for me. Sincerely, Agueda…”
Praise God – the Bible presents Jesus Christ the Messiah as the Bread of Life for mankind! Pray Agueda spends time alone with God each day reading her Bible & rereading her study booklets.
Tuesday, 13th: An inmate wrote: “I am sending back my latest lessons and looking forward to the next ones. These lessons have been very enlightening to me and I am sharing them with others. Thank you and may God continue to bless you and your ministry in all your endeavors. Much love, Johnny…”
Praise God – His powerful word brings personal healing to whosoever believeth in Him! Pray Johnny lives out the message of God’s salvation among fellow inmates and with his family contacts.
Wednesday, 14th: “Hi brothers and sisters, please forgive the bother. My name is Benito O… I started my studies with you and because of being moved I couldn’t finish them. I completed A COUNTRY CALLED HEAVEN and LOVE, DATING & MARRIAGE. I have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior and I hope in Christ that you can help me with these Bible studies again.”
Praise God – He goes before, comes behind and holds His hand upon His own (Psalm 139:5)! Pray Benito remains faithful to the Lord in his personal life, in spite of any challenges in the new jail.
Thursday, 15th: “Hi, my name is Jonathan… and I got to know about you through Benito O… I am incarcerated and he spoke about you. Well, I would like to learn more… to get closer to God. I am 25 years old. I am a good person but at times I make bad decisions. In truth, I have slipped up a number of times. I would like to get out of here and do better. I would really like to receive the studies and tracts you are sending to my friend Benito. Thank you for your time. I hope to hear from you.”
Praise God – His love becomes contagious when Christ is the center of attention! Pray Jonathan sees Jesus Christ as his only hope to live a better life free from his bondage to personal sin.
Friday, 16th: Judy… wrote the following at the end of her study’s test pages: “These lessons are changing my previous thoughts about God. I never really understood His plan for us. God wants us to know we are saved… don’t have to fear or beg or plead with God. God really does love us (me). I had thoughts that God was all about condemning us and punishing us.”
Praise God – His word is a love-letter to mankind revealing the Way, the Truth and the Life! Pray Judy keeps studying the following lessons & courses. Pray she shares God’s love with others.
Saturday, 17th: After doing the tests, Joanne… wrote: “I am a real sinner trying to overcome drug addiction and severe depression. I live alone and don’t have much of a social life. I need help!”
Praise God – He gives real hope to everyone who takes hold of Jesus through personal faith! Pray Joanne truly repents of her sin and wholeheartedly believes on Jesus as her Savior and Lord.
