Having accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, we ask you to pray for us today that we may continue following the Lord and doing our heavenly Father’s will.             Praise God – He calls, equips & empowers His children for victory in Jesus’ name! Pray Pedro stands firm in God’s word as he battles Satan’s schemes in his private and public life as an inmate.

 

Wednesday, 2nd: “The reason I’m writing is to ask you to pray for me and my family. My name is Elvin…, I am 22 years old, I’m Honduran and I am in jail. Unfortunately I am in this situation but none-the-less I thank God because it’s helped me to grow more in the Lord. I ask that you send me materials to read so I can continue to study.”

            Praise God – His Family goes beyond cultural barriers and He finds His lost in life’s thickets! Pray Elvin can study his Bible and courses without hindrance. Pray he gets in touch with his family.

 

Thursday, 3rd: “I got one of your tracts here in the __ ____ County Detention Facility. I am a Federal Policeman in Mexico and we work all over the country from north to south. Working in Ciudad Juarez, someone gave me a pamphlet about El Paso. Something in me pushed me to cross the bridge. As I was doing it, I thought, ‘the police are going to grab me’ and they did. The week before, I had asked God to help me to stop drinking once again. I had even seen a church but I didn’t have the courage to go. Here in prison a guy spoke with me about God and since that day I have given my life to the Lord. Now I want to learn more but I don’t know how. Respectfully, Armando…

            Praise God – He hears the prayers of the needy and answers accordingly! Pray Armando reads and studies his Bible and lessons daily. Pray he has courage to seek help from other believers.

 

Friday, 4th: “My name is Pablo… and I would like to enroll in your Spanish Bible courses.”

            Praise God – He causes the paths of this ministry to cross with those seeking God’s help! Pray Pablo comes to know Jesus as his personal Savior while reading his lesson’s Bible verses.

            Praise God – He gives His children a hunger for something better, His word! Pray Juan faithfully follows the Lord’s leading as he studies and discovers God’s will for his life as an inmate.

Praise God – He offers the world the gift of salvation at His Own Personal Cost, out of love! Pray Luis grows strong in his relationship with God. Pray he encourages others to accept God’s gift.

Monday, 16th: Inmate Adrian shares what he has learned after completing a course: “In this course I have learned what to expect when the Lord comes again. I have learned what I will do in Heaven and who I’ll see there. I also learned that no one knows when He will come, but I believe and I am ready!”

Praise God – Jesus Christ is returning to raise the dead in Christ and to rapture His Church! Pray Adrian keeps focused on what’s at hand, yet never loses sight of Christ’s return on the horizon.

Thursday, 19th: Inmate Juan… wrote: “I write to ask you a favor. Could you pray for my family, for my mom, sister and her children and also for my girlfriend Paola? She is locked up too.”

Praise God – He attends to His children’s prayers 24-7, having Jesus our Intercessor at His side! Pray Juan, Paola and his family come to know God personally through this imprisonment time.

Friday, 20th: Pablo… wrote: “I have learned not to believe in Satan’s big lie, but to trust God’s word, because his word is truth and we will be judged by the truth! He created us in His own image as a moral being to reveal His moral absolutes to us in His word. God decides what works for me. Please pray for my sick friend Lealha… Pray also for all the inmates here in ___ __ Prison.”

Praise God – His Residing Tutor helps each of His own to discern between lies and truth. Pray Pablo shares what he has learned, so encouraging cellmates and friends to study God’s word.

Saturday, 21st: “I have learned so much in all these lessons. And the main thing is to take a look at myself; think about how Jesus died on the cross to give us all a second chance. Once I was baptized, but… This time I’m gonna do it right, just as it says in the lessons. I find myself wanting more than just doing the lessons. Praise God – He teaches the Bride thru the Holy Spirit to be prepared for the Groom’s coming! Pray Sandra follows Christ’s teaching regarding baptism and pray she finds a Bible-teaching church.

Sunday, 8th: “Once again, I am Randy… I thank you for sending your Bible studies. They are very helpful, making the Bible easier to understand. I strongly believe God will restore me and that He has a plan for me. Please pray that I can return to society once again. I will probably serve 2 more years and my address will change shortly. Praise God – He is mankind’s Creator and He gave us our operations manual, the Bible! Pray Randy diligently prepares himself to return to the outside world using his Bible and studies regularly.

Monday, 9th: Inmate Wayne shares what he has learned after finishing a course: “Jesus is my Intercessor, which means he is praying for me. So, when Satan tempts me to sin, Jesus shows me a way out of it. He also gives me patience, strength, wisdom and help in life and a whole lot more. I am fortunate to have someone as great as Jesus.”

Praise God – He sent Jesus to offer all an opportunity to have life more abundantly (Jn 10:10)! Pray Wayne discerns God’s truth from Satan’s lies when conversing with fellow inmates about things.

Tuesday, 10th: Inmate Luis… wrote: “I thank you brothers for continuing to send the Bible studies. Now 15 more are coming and studying with us and we began with only 5. Thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ there are now more of us. And 2 of these accepted Christ as their Savior recently. We are working for the Lord because His word tells us to be fishers of men. Pray I have more wisdom.”

Praise God – He has a higher calling for His children no matter who they are or what they do! Pray Luis earnestly seeks the Lord’s help for more wisdom in humility. Pray he serves in meekness.

Praise God – He causes BSBM to cross paths with many who are seeking to know Him better! Pray Michael studies his Bible daily; rereads his study booklets & seeks other believers for fellowship.

Friday, 13th: Inmate Toribio… wrote what he learned when completing a course: “The most important thing I have learned in this course is that I best be well prepared for Christ when He comes and not to let Satan deceive me. Thanks I give to you my Lord for saving my life and showing me the better way; the narrow road which leads me to where You are Father. You are good.”

Praise God – He sent the Holy Spirit to counsel & guide all believers after Christ’s ascension! Pray Toribio shares God’s plan of salvation for mankind with his family, friends and cellmates.

Sunday, 1st: Inmate Florentino… wrote: “In this course I have learned that Christ is our Lord and Savior. He justifies me by forgiving all my sin. He is the door, the pastor, the bread of Heaven, the true vine, the light of the world and the road that brings us into communion with the Heavenly Father.”

Praise God – His written word/the Bible gives mankind a detailed description of Himself! Pray Florentino reflects Jesus the light of the world to those who see & hear him & those he writes to also.

Monday, 2nd: Inmate Donna… wrote: “These lessons have restored in me the knowledge I once knew. Continue to send me these lessons once I’m freed from jail. I have spent 30 days here and have utilized every minute to repent, renew and restore… I am not the same woman who walked in here full of anger, grief and loss. Now I see the positive side of my arrest. The Lord has given me a peaceful heart and the joy has returned as He promised.”

Praise God – His written word leads mankind to a possible encounter with the Living Word! Pray Donna keeps the Lord on the throne of her heart through daily Bible study and prayer.

Wednesday, 4th: After completing THE LIFE OF CHRIST course, inmate Luis… wrote: “I have learned how much my God and my Savior love me. And that He is coming soon to rescue us and take us to be with Him. And in the mean time, I will try to live the new life in Christ, doing the best I can. He paid for my sins, He is my personal Savior. By His grace, he gave me the opportunity to be born again and I’m a new creature in Christ Jesus for His glory and honor. Amen!”

Praise God – He daily desires to relate on a personal level with mankind! Pray Luis seeks to organize his thoughts, words & activities, so he lives as a new creation in Christ Jesus among others.

Thursday, 5th: Inmate Alonso… wrote: “I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and understanding in receiving my letter and replying to it. Thanks also for sending the message to my wife Alma. We are parents without papers and the state wants to keep our children because we don’t have family here.
