Praise God – His word has all the ingredients to help a believer become Christ-like! Pray Guillermo uses his lockup time to study and prepare himself for the Lord’s purposes in days ahead.
Tuesday, 1st: “I’m thankful for the Bible teaching on how to do battle against Satan. Pedro…”
Praise God – He calls, equips & empowers His children for victory in Jesus’ name! Pray Pedro stands firm in God’s word as he battles Satan’s schemes in his private and public life as an inmate.
Wednesday, 2nd: “The reason I’m writing is to ask you to pray for me and my family. My name is Elvin…, I am 22 years old, I’m Honduran and I am in jail. Unfortunately I am in this situation but none-the-less I thank God because it’s helped me to grow more in the Lord. I ask that you send me materials to read so I can continue to study.”
Praise God – His Family goes beyond cultural barriers and He finds His lost in life’s thickets! Pray Elvin can study his Bible and courses without hindrance. Pray he gets in touch with his family.
Thursday, 3rd: “I got one of your tracts here in the __ ____ County Detention Facility. I am a Federal Policeman in Mexico and we work all over the country from north to south. Working in Ciudad Juarez, someone gave me a pamphlet about El Paso. Something in me pushed me to cross the bridge. As I was doing it, I thought, ‘the police are going to grab me’ and they did. The week before, I had asked God to help me to stop drinking once again. I had even seen a church but I didn’t have the courage to go. Here in prison a guy spoke with me about God and since that day I have given my life to the Lord. Now I want to learn more but I don’t know how. Respectfully, Armando…”
Praise God – He hears the prayers of the needy and answers accordingly! Pray Armando reads and studies his Bible and lessons daily. Pray he has courage to seek help from other believers.
Friday, 4th: “My name is Pablo… and I would like to enroll in your Spanish Bible courses.”
Praise God – He causes the paths of this ministry to cross with those seeking God’s help! Pray Pablo comes to know Jesus as his personal Savior while reading his lesson’s Bible verses.
Saturday, 5th: “I want to tell you that it’s been 2 weeks since I’ve received mail from you. I would like to know what’s happening because I want to finish my studies. I hope you can answer me soon. Many thanks, your brother Juan…” (He accepted Christ as his Savior on August 28, 2009.)
Praise God – He gives His children a hunger for something better, His word! Pray Juan faithfully follows the Lord’s leading as he studies and discovers God’s will for his life as an inmate.
